يدور موضوع الدراسة حول: فن السيرة الغيرية في كتاب الفتح القسي في الفتح القدسي من أجل إبراز التقنيات السردية لفن السيرة الغيرية والكشف عن تأثير عتبات السيرة وفضاءاتها وعناصرها على جماليات هذا الفن، والوقوف على التأثير الأدبي لفن السيرة الغيرية، وأثره في إبراز شخصية صلاح الدين الأيوبي وفق المنهج الوصفي، وذلك من خلال تمهيد عن مفهوم السيرة الغيرية، وثلاثة مباحث، الأول يتناول: مقدمات السيرة الغيرية، وفيه مطلبان: العتبات، ودوافع التأليف، والثاني يتناول: فضاء السيرة الغيرية، وفيه مطلبان: الزمان، والمكان، والثالث يتناول: عناصر السيرة الغيرية، وفيه ثلاثة مطالب: السارد، والمسرود له، والسرد، وتتمثل أبرز نتائج الدراسة في الآتي: إثارة اهتمام المتلقين بحياة صلاح الدين الأيوبي الذي كان له إسهام فعال من خلال سرد أحداث حياته وتتابع تلك الأحداث في الفترة الزمنية المرصودة لهذه السيرة، حيث أبرز السارد الجهود التي بذلت من أجل تحرير بيت المقدس وأكنافه من أيدي الصليبيين، وما خلفته تلك الحروب من أثار طبعت الفكر الحضاري والتاريخ الاجتماعي في تلك الحقبة وما تلاها، الأمر الذي ظهر من العنوان المتميز للسيرة والعناوين الأخرى الداخلية، ثم من خلال دوافع التأليف التي حرص السارد علي تجليتها، مغلفا تلك السيرة بالفضاءات المكانية والزمانية، وصولا إلى الأسلوب الذي انتهجه السارد باستخدامه اللغة الحيادية في طابع أدبي متميز يسير مع تسلسل الأحداث التاريخية.
