|a تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة مدى مساهمة أخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات المهنيين في مصر في إثراء الإنتاج الفكري المتخصص، ومعرفة دوافع أخصائي المعلومات للبحث والنشر العلمي، وتحديد العوامل التي تسهم في زيادة الإنتاجية العلمية لأخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات في مصر، والكشف عن المعوقات التي تواجههم في عملية البحث والنشر، واقتراح استراتيجيات تحسن من الإنتاجية العلمية لأخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات في مصر. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج المسحي الميداني، مستخدمة الاستبانة أداة لجمع البيانات. واستخدمت الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية SPSS لتحليل البيانات التي تم تجميعها.\nوخرجت الدراسة بأن من أهم دوافع النشر العلمي من وجهة نظر أخصائي المعلومات: تحقيق التنمية المهنية المستمرة، والمساهمة في رفع مكانة المكتبة، وتطوير تخصص المكتبات. أما العوامل التي تسهم في زيادة الإنتاجية العلمية من وجهة نظرهم: تشجع إدارة المكتبة على حضور المؤتمرات والمشاركة فيها بأوراق عمل، وإتاحة فرص التفرغ جزء من الوقت لإنجاز البحوث، وعقد دورات متخصصة في موضوع "خطوات البحث العلمي" لتنمية المهارات البحثية للعاملين بها. في حين جاءت المعوقات التي تحول دون إجراء البحوث العلمية: انخفاض العائد المادي مقارنة بالجهد المبذول في إنجاز البحوث العلمية، وأن إجراء البحوث العلمية يحتاج إلى تكاليف مالية، كذلك عدم الاستفادة بالبحوث في الترقية لأن الترقية تتم بالأقدمية وفقا لقانون تنظيم العاملين بالدولة.\n

|f The current study aims to find out the extent to which libraries and information professionals in Egypt contribute to enriching specialized intellectual production, to know the motivations of the information specialist for research and the scientific publication, and to identify factors that contribute to increasing the scientific productivity of library and information specialists in Egypt. The study also aims to reveal the obstacles they face in the research and publication process and propose strategies to improve the scientific productivity of library and information specialists in Egypt. The study relied on the field survey curriculum, using the questionnaire as a data-collection tool. The social science statistical package SPSS was used to analyze the collected data.\nThe study concluded that the most important motivations of scientific publishing from the point of view of the information specialist are: achieving continuous professional development, contributing to raising the prestige of the library, and developing the specialty of libraries. Factors that contribute to increasing scientific productivity, according to them, include: encouraging the library management to attend and participate in conferences with working papers, providing part-time opportunities to complete research, and holding specialized courses on the subject of “scientific research steps” to develop the research skills of its employees. The obstacles to conducting scientific research include low material return compared to the effort (exerted) to accomplish scientific research, and that scientific research requires financial costs, as well as the lack of use of research in promotion because the promotion is carried out by seniority according to the Employees Regulation Act of the state.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021
