المستخلص: The baths played in Roman era an important role in the lives of the Romans and the lives of the peoples affected. Even small towns were keen to have a bath or more. and bathrooms were different in forms, as well in the purposes, where the bathrooms of the Roman emperors were luxurious, not just places for bathing, but equipped with libraries, clubs, cisterns, gardens and various entertainment. The public bathroom was consisted of three rooms: the Firgidarium, the Tepidarium and the Caldarium. A each of the main rooms was repeated more than once to become large bathroom. The Egyptian-Polish Mission conducted archaeological excavations in Maria during the work to discovere Bath Maria, beginning in 2000 and on until 2006, to during these excavations many archaeological finds were discovered, dating back to the late Roman era. The bath is located in Maria, an archaeological area about 40 km south west Alexandria on the southern coast of Lake Mariout, off Sidi Kreir area on the road between Alexandria and Borg Al Arab. The city of Maria was of economic and strategic importance. It is a port followed for the shipment of goods from Alexandria to southern Europe, a center for the manufacture and export of wine, as well as a destination for pilgrims to rest on their way to the monastery of St. Abu Mina. Maria's bathroom consists of several locker rooms, a cold water chamber, a steam room and a hot water chamber. Maria's bathrooms applied new heating and heating systems, as well as bathroom accessories, as well as water drainage systems and lighting techniques. This site is published for the first time in this research, and includes also a description of archaeological artifacts that helped to date.
