The impact of wars on pre-Islamic poetry Wars have fallen between people since the beginning of creation, with the intention of taking human revenge with one another. The Arabs in the pre-Islamic era used it until it became a distinctive feature of this era and had a great impact on their lives in a pubic way and on the flowering of poetry among them in particular. The frequent wars between pre-Islamic Arabs led to the renaissance and development of poetry. The role of Al-Shahir does not depart from the role of the brave of his people, and he was in peace threatening public security, and his poems often pushed the tribe to move. The war was one of the most powerful manifestations that stir the poets, as their poems abounded, and they boasted of the crowds, they boasted of the victims, the captives, the dead, the shouting of shame. The defeated side did not stand idly by, but took revenge with poems all powerfully to demean the prestige of the victorious lofty and overthrow their arrogance, to magnify its people and remember their previous victories and try to reduce the impact of defeat and threaten its enemies with woe and destruction and other things that frighten them and send in his people pride, strength and hope . Thus, we can see that the war in the Jahiliyyah has provided the poet with a wide field for saying poetry, thus providing him with various topics of description, pride, satire, lament, apology and threat, and this means that the war has a deep and wide-ranging effect on poetry, and the poets also have a great impact on the war, for they are the ones who stir up the foam and stir their anger. They could also calm their revolts, and and correct words would descend upon the hearts in coldness and peace, so the anger would subside and the revolution would vanish . Wars had a tangible effect on people in general and poets in particular, as it was a field for conversation and a source of poetic inspiration, so it stirred the souls of poets and aroused various feelings, so they exploded on their tongues a flood of abundance that filled a wide area in the field of saying and although the wars are abhorrent but they achieved the desire of poets to express them and be proficient in portraying them and thus they left. We have an honest record that we were able to know about a lot from the life of the Arabs before they became one nation.
