المستخلص: This study deals with the narrative suspense in the novel "After Seven Years" by the French writer Guillaume Musso, which was published in 2012, and it exceeded four hundred pages. The events of the novel revolve around a married couple who separated seven years ago, and the wheel of time revolved around them until the event that put them in a whirlpool that ended with them returning again after a long separation. The sudden disappearance of their son Jeremy, the couple's agonizing search for him, the quest to save him, and the union of purpose - brought the soul back into a lost married life. The author has created it so excellently, that these exciting events had a profound impact on the reader of the novel, creating in him a passion for following the events of the novel. The writer's style was characterized by diversity, which imparts a beautiful charm and ambiguity with aesthetic goals such as mental excitement, mental suspense, and drawing attention. The aim of the research was to identify the tools and methods employed by the writer to attract the reader to follow the events of the novel, the dangers surrounding the hero, his attempts to escape from them, and the ways he took to get out of the predicament. This research – in the beginning - sheds light on the police novel in France and its types, the rules that govern each type, and determines the type of the novel - the study material - and the research - later - deals with the basic elements that helped in the emergence and success of the process of narrative suspense, starting with the axes that relate to the core of the text, such as: the title, the front cover, the back cover, the introduction to the novel, and the text of the novel, and ending to the last lines of the novel. The research also dealt with the writer's employment of linguistic methods to lead the reader to complete reading the novel with greed, amid a feeling full of desire to reach the end of the novel's events and an attempt to understand the meaning that has been going on in the heart of the writer. Dans cette recherche, nous étudierons la tension narrative dans Sept ans après de Musso, un roman écrit en 2012 qui raconte l'histoire d'un couple séparé qui a deux enfants. L'axe de ce roman est basé sur la disparition soudaine de leur fils Jeremy et comment tous les deux ont fait tout le possible pour le retrouver. Le lecteur du roman reste toujours vigilant à la lecture du roman puisque l'auteur utilise une tension narrative qui le tient jusqu’aux dernières lignés du roman. Notre objectif c'est de mettre l'accent sur cette technique narrative utilisée par l'auteur à l'égard de l'action du roman et de traiter les moyens narratifs que l'auteur a employés pour convaincre le lecteur à continuer et à attendre impatiemment la fin du récit. Nous traiterons d'abord les genres du roman policier et ensuite nous essayerons de délimiter d'après quel genre policier appartient le roman étudié. Nous analyserons ensuite les éléments qui ont déjà aidé a la production de la tension narrative à partir du paratexte jusqu’à la fin du texte et nous traiterons également les autres procédés stylistiques qui ont déjà construit cette tension narrative chez le lecteur potentiel du récit.

تتناول هذه الدراسة التشويق السردي في رواية "بعد سبع سنوات" للكاتب الفرنسي جييوم موسو، والتي نشرت عام ٢٠١٢م، وتجاوزت صفحاتها الأربعمائة صفحة. وتدور أحداث الرواية حول زوجين انفصلا منذ سبع سنوات، ودارت بهما عجلة الزمن حتى جاء الحدث الذي وضعهما في دوامة انتهت بهما إلى العودة من جديد بعد فراق طويل. كان الاختفاء المفاجئ لابنهما جيريمي، ورحلة البحث المضنية عنه من الزوجين، والسعي لإنقاذه، واتحاد الهدف -كان سببا في عودة الروح من جديد لحياة زوجية كانت قد قضت. وقد أبدع المؤلف؛ حيث كان لهذه الأحداث المثيرة أثرا بالغا على قارئ الرواية حيث خلقت بداخله شغفا بمتابعة أحداث الرواية، وكان أسلوب الكاتب يتسم بالتنوع مما يضفي سحرا وغموضا جميلا له غايات جمالية كالإثارة الذهنية والتشويق العقلي ولفت الانتباه. وتمثل الهدف من البحث في التعرف على الأدوات والأساليب التي وظفها الكاتب لجذب القارئ إلى متابعة أحداث الرواية والمخاطر التي تحيط بالبطل ومحاولاته للنجاة منها والطرق التي سلكها للخروج من المأزق. يقوم هذا البحث- بداية- بإلقاء الضوء على الرواية البوليسية في فرنسا وأنواعها، والقواعد التي تحكم كل نوع، وتحديد نوع الرواية- مادة الدراسة- كما يتناول البحث- فيما بعد- العناصر الأساسية التي ساعدت في ظهور ونجاح عملية التشويق السردي، بداية من المحاور التي تتصل بجوهر النص مثل: العنوان، والغلاف الأمامي، والغلاف الخلفي، ومقدمة الرواية، ونص الرواية، انتهاء إلى آخر سطور الرواية. كما تناول البحث توظيف الكاتب للأساليب اللغوية ليقود القارئ إلى استكمال قراءة الرواية بنهم وسط شعور مليء بالرغبة في الوصول إلى نهاية أحداث الرواية ومحاولة فهم المعنى الذي ظل يدور في نفس الكاتب.
