المستخلص: The study aimed to identify the extent of the Egyptian university youth’s dependence on the contents of the Egyptian security media on Facebook and its relationship to developing awareness of the dangers of terrorism in them. This study is one of the descriptive studies that use the field media survey method on an intentional sample of 400 Egyptian university youths in the period from 1 / 4/ 2019 to 5/ 15/ 2019 from Egyptian university students (Cairo University - Zagazig - October 6 - El Shorouk Academy) using the questionnaire tool. The study reached several results, including: -Respondents always follow the military spokesman's page at 77.3% and sometimes by 22.7%. -Respondents follow the contents of the official page of the military spokesman, as it provides a true picture of the heroics and sacrifices of the Egyptian Armed Forces in facing terrorism, and they obtain information about what is happening in the arena. Respondents interact with the official page of the military spokesperson by evaluating it with liking by 43.5%, and sharing the post on other Facebook pages by 29.5%, -The official page of the military spokesman on Facebook affects security awareness through (consolidating the values of loyalty, belonging and patriotism - educating young people about correct information and the dangers of rumors. -Respondents interact with the official page of the military spokesperson by evaluating it with liking by 43.5%, and sharing the post on other Facebook pages by 29.5%. - There is a correlational relationship with statistical significance that shows the rate of Egyptian university youth dependence on the official Facebook page of the Egyptian Armed Forces military spokesperson and the level of security awareness of the dangers of terrorism in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
