المستخلص: تحدثت في هذه المقالة عن مفهوم التنمية المستدامة، وتاريخ ظهور هذا المصطلح، وذكرت بعض الانتقادات التي وجهت إليها، ثم ذكرت الأبعاد الثلاثة لها: وهي البعد الاقتصادي والبعد الاجتماعي والبعد البيئي، ثم طبقت هذا المفهوم عن حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بذكر نماذج مفاهيمية ثم نماذج تطبيقية عنه وعن أصحابه تشمل الأبعاد الثلاثة للتنمية المستدامة منها: الدعوة للعمل والاهتمام بالوقت والاهتمام بالإنسان والتكافل الاجتماعي والمحافظة على البيئة ومكوناتها وغيرها من النماذج الكثيرة، وتوصلت إلى أن التنمية المستدامة كانت حاضرة وبقوة في عصر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بكل أبعادها وكانت عملا مطبقا وثمرة واضحة بداية من الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم أصحابه ثم من تبعهم من المسلمين، وأنه صلى الله عليه وسلم دعا إليها ومارسها بتفصيلها الدقيقة، فسن وقعد لها وربطها بالله تعالى، ومارس مجموعة من نماذجها ليقيس من بعده عليها. وأوصى بإعادة قراءة سنة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قراءة جديدة، يستخرج منها ما يحتاجه أهل عصرنا، فقد بذل علماؤنا السابقون مجهودهم وسدوا حاجة عصرهم، فعلينا أن نقتدي بهم ونفعل مثلهم فنسد حاجتنا اليوم.

In this article, I talked about the concept of sustainable development, and the history of the emergence of this term, and mentioned some of the criticisms directed at it, then I mentioned its three dimensions: the economic, social, and the environmental dimension. I also applied this concept on the life of the Messenger by mentioning conceptual models, then practical models about him and his companions, which include the three dimensions of sustainable development, including: the call to work , and attention to time, to people, to social solidarity, to preservation of the environment and its components, and many other models. I concluded that sustainable development was strongly present in the era of the Prophet in all its dimensions and was an applied action and a clear fruit, beginning with the Messenger, and his companions, then those who followed them from among the Muslims. He called to it and practiced it in precise detail, so he enacted and limited and linked it to God Almighty, and he practiced a set of its models to measure from it after him. I recommend re-reading the Sunnah of the Prophet a new reading, from which what the people of our time need are extracted from it. Our previous scholars have made their efforts and fulfilled the needs of their time, so we must follow them and do the same, so we meet our needs today.
