|a تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تبيان دور الترجمة الروائية في تلاقح الثقافات، على أساس أنها أحد أهم الوسائل اللغوية التواصلية للتعرف على الآخر، أو تعرف هذا الأخير على الأنا، وهذا من خلال قراءتنا للنصوص الأجنبية المترجمة إلى لغتنا، أو ترجمة النصوص العربية إلى اللغات الأخرى. لذا سعى الروائي السعودي أحمد أبو دهمان إلى ترجمة نصه الروائي الحزام. فما هي يا ترى الأليات التي وظفها أحمد أبو دهمان في ترجمته لنصه الروائي؟ وهل يمكن اعتبار النص المترجم بالضرورة هو النص الأصلي؟ وهل هذه الترجمة أسهمت في التعريف بالأدب السعودي؟ وإلى أي مدى يمكن اعتبار الترجمة عاملا من عوامل تلاقح الثقافات؟

This is why the Saudi novelist Ahmed Abu Dahman sought to translate his novel, Al- Hazam. So what are the mechanisms used by Ahmed Abu Dahman in translating his narrative text? And can the translated text necessarily be considered the original text? And did this translation contribute to introducing Saudi literature? And to what extent can translation be considered a factor in cross fertilization of cultures
