تناولت أثارت الهجرات اليهودية التي انطلقت من الاتحاد السوفيتي (السابق) منذ أوائل عقد السبعينات من القرن العشرين جملة تساؤلات حول أسبابها ودوافعها ونتائجها، هذه الظاهرة التي طغت على سطح الأحداث في مرحلة تعد من أحرج وأدق مراحل القضية الفلسطينية والصراع العربي- "الإسرائيلي"، في حين أجرت "إسرائيل" والولايات المتحدة في أواخر ثمانينات القرن العشرين اتصالات مكثفة مع الاتحاد السوفييتي في عهد الزعيم الأسبق ميخائيل غورباتشوف بشأن السماح لليهود السوفييت بالهجرة، أسفرت عن موافقته لليهود بالهجرة صوب فلسطين وبأعداد كبيرة وغير مسبوقة. وتشكل هذا البحث من مقدمة فضلاً عن خاتمة وثلاثة محاور حمل المحور الأول: هجرات اليهود السوفييت ودول أوروبا الشرقية نحو فلسطين، أما المحور الثاني فقد تناولت أسباب هجرات اليهود السوفييت ودوافعها، في حين جاء المحور الثالث في أثر هجرة اليهود السوفييت على القضية الفلسطينية.
The Jewish immigration that started from the Soviet Union since the beginning of the seventies raised questions about the reasons, motivations and results of this migration, and the media were active in different directions in commenting on this phenomenon which overshadowed the surface of events in a stage that is one of the most embarrassing and precise stages of the question of Palestine and the Arab- And the global conflict in general. In the late 1980s, Israel and the United States conducted intensive contacts with the Soviet Union under President Mikhail Gorbachev on allowing Soviet Jews to emigrate. These efforts resulted in the Soviet Union allowing the Jews Migration in large numbers and it is unprecedented. This research consists of an introduction, as well as a conclusion and three axes bearing the first axis: the immigration of the Soviet Jews and the Eastern European countries towards Palestine. The second axis dealt with the reasons and motives of the exodus of the Soviet Jews, While the third axis in the impact of the migration of Soviet Jews on the Palestinian cause.
