المستخلص: Mr.Saad Eddin El Othmani, Head of the Moroccan Government, pledged in 2017 to develop a strategy to combat violence against women. After three years of waiting, the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and Family took the initiative to act by launching consultations with various governmental and non-governmental actors to prepare a formula for the draft national strategy to combat violence against women 2020-2030 according to a new vision and a holistic and participatory approach to keep pace with the legal reforms carried out to protect women and to activate the various obligations The national and international implications of these reforms. We were encouraged by this initiative and our optimism increased when the Ministry of Solidarity and Family invited the judges of the Public Prosecution Office, representatives of the regional and local committees to support women victims of violence, to attend a consultative meeting on: 11/13/2020 in which the general directions of the project were presented, followed by discussions and raising some important related issues Subject matter. After our study of the draft national strategy for combating violence against women 2020-2030 according to the formula presented to us, we made a number of observations, and through our practical experience in the framework of support cells for women and children victims of violence, updated since 2004 at the level of all courts in the Kingdom and after reviewing A set of international best practices We have presented a set of proposals to improve this project, which will be discussed in two topics. We will devote the first to our formal and substantive observations, while we dedicate the second topic to our proposals on the topic.
