هدفت الدراسة إلى بحث فاعلية العلاقات العامة الدولية في تطوير العمل الدبلوماسي بين السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بالتطبيق على وزارة الخارجية السودانية، من خلال أنشطتها وبرامجها وقياس فاعلية العلاقات العامة الدولية في تطوير العمل الدبلوماسي بين السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، تأتي أهمية هذه الدراسة من طبيعة العمل الدبلوماسي نفسه حيث إنه لابد من جهد أكبر على مدى أطول لإزالة الرواسب التاريخية وتقريب المصالح وإقرار التفاهم ومن هنا فإن دراسة العلاقات العامة الدولية مفتاح الدبلوماسية الحديثة، وقد برزت مشكلة البحث من خلال إحساس الباحث لبعض المعوقات الدبلوماسية في تطوير العلاقات بين السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، للوصول إلى نتائج عملية تسهم في معالجة الإشكال. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلية، أسلوب العينة العمدية تم اختياره قصدياً، ونسبة لطبيعة البحث والمعلومات المراد الحصول عليها، حيث تم توزيع عدد (80) استبانة على مجتمع الدراسة وتم استرجاع (70) إستبانة سليمة تم استخدامها في التحليل بنسبة استرجاع بلغت (87.5%). وصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج وتوصيات أهمها: 1. أوضحت الدراسة أن غالبية أفراد العينة يوافقون على أن إدارة العلاقات العامة الدولية بوزارة الخارجية تسهم في تطوير النشاط الدبلوماسي بين السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. 1. بينت الدراسة أن غالبية أفراد العينة يوافقون على أن العلاقات العامة الدولية بالوزارة تستخدم وسائل الاتصال الحديثة لتطوير الأنشطة الدبلوماسية بين السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. 1. أوصت الدراسة الوزارة بصفة خاصة والحكومية السودانية بصفة عامة بإعطاء مزيد من الاهتمام والرعاية لعلاقات العامة الدولية وأنشطتها، وذلك حتى تمارس دورها الحقيقي والفعال المنوط بها. 2. برهنت الدراسة لوزارة الخارجية السودانية لتوفير ميزانية في تنفيذ برامجها وتوفي أفضل الوسائل الاتصالية اللازمة لتنفيذ الأنشطة.
The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of international public relations in developing diplomatic work between Sudan and the United States of America, by applying it on the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its activities and programs and by measuring the effectiveness of international public relations in developing diplomatic work between Sudan and the United States of America. The importance of this study comes from the nature of diplomatic work itself, as it is necessary to make a greater effort over a longer period to remove historical deep rooted problems, bring interests closer and establish understanding. The study of international public relations is the key to modern diplomacy. The research problem has emerged due to the feeling of the researcher of some diplomatic obstacles in developing relations between Sudan and the United States of America. To reach practical results that contribute to addressing the problem, the descriptive analytical approach was used. The method of the deliberate sampling was intentionally chosen, and according to the nature of the research and the information to be obtained. 80 Questionnaires were distributed to the study population and 70 valid questionnaires were used in the analysis with a retrieval rate of 87.5%. The study reached results: (1) the study demonstrated that the majority of respondents agreed that the administration of the international public relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contributes to the development of diplomatic activity between Sudan and the United States of America. (2) The study showed that the majority of respondents agreed that international public relations at the Ministry uses modern means of communication to develop diplomatic activities between Sudan and the United States of America. The study recommended that: (1) the Ministry in particular and the Sudanese government in general should give more attention and care to international public relations and its activities in order to exercise its real and effective role assigned to it. (2) The study proved that the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs should provide a budget for the implementation of its programs and provide the best communication means necessary to implement the activities.
