المستخلص: تعالج هذه الورقة مشكل العلاقة بين التنمية بمفهومها الاجتماعي والاقتصادي وتطوير اللغة العربية، بوصفها علاقة عضوية متبادلة التأثير. وتسعى إلى تناول هذه القضية من خلال فحص ثلاثة مطالب أساسية هي: ١/ مدخل: اللسان والإصلاح: قصة قديمة. يتناول أصول الإحساس التراثي بعلاقة اللغة بإصلاح المعاش، وتنامي هذا الإحساس وأثره في تطوير اللغة العربية. ٢/ علاقة التنمية بتطوير اللغة العربية: محددات الوعي في اللسانيات المعاصرة. ويتناول هذا المطلب جرد مقولات اللسانيين المعاصرين التي تكشف عن حضور الوعي بعلاقة التنمية بالتحسين اللغوي على المستوى العام الذي يتجلى في إدراك أثر اللغة في بناء العالم، وعلى المستوى الخاص الذي يقرر أن الاشتغال بالتنمية ومطالب النهضة والتحديث سبيل جيدة لتطوير اللغة وتحديثها. ٣/التنمية وتطوير اللغة العربية: مسارات التشغيل. ويتناول تعيين ثلاثة مجالات أو مسارات عملية يمكن أن تكون مفتتحا لتطوير اللغة العربية في المستقبل القريب لتستجيب لمطالب التحديث الحيوية وهذه المسارات هي: أولا: الإصلاح القانوني والتشريعي. ثانيا: إصلاح قواعد الكتابة. ثالثا: إصلاح المعجم. واختيار هذه المجالات الثلاثة تعيينا راجع إلى اتساع نتائج التحسين اللغوي المترتبة عليها من جانب، ولأنها تغطي مساحة كبيرة من حل المشكلات التي تواجه اللسان العربي منذ زمان طويل من جانب ثان، لأن الواقع في البلدان العربية زاخر بالتجارب والكفاءات المهنية الممتازة في مجالاتها، مما يمنح المجتمع فرصا للتفاؤل بإحراز نجاحات ملموسة فيها.

This paper deals with the problem of the relationship between development in its social and economic sense and the development of the Arabic language, as an organic relationship of mutual influence. It seeks to address this issue by examining three basic topics: 1/ Introduction: language and reform: An Old Story. It deals with the origins of the heritage feeling in the relationship of language with the reform of the livelihood, the growth of this feeling and its impact on the development of the Arabic language. 2/ Relationship of Development with Development of Arabic Language: Determinants of Consciousness in Contemporary Linguistics. This topic deals with an inventory of expressions of contemporary linguists that reveal the presence of awareness of the relationship of development with linguistic improvement at the general level, which is reflected in the awareness of the impact of language in building the world, and at the special level, which decides that engaging in development and the demands of renaissance and modernization is a good way to develop and modernize the language. 3/ Development and strengthening of the Arabic language: the paths of operation. It deals with identifying three areas or practical ways that could open the way for the development of the Arabic language in the near future to respond to the vital demands of modernization. These ways are: First: Legal and legislative reform. Second: Reform of the rules of writing. Third: Reform of the lexicon. The choice of these three areas in particular is due to the wideness of the results of linguistic improvement resulting from them on the one hand, and because they cover a large area of solving problems facing the Arabic language for a long time on the other hand, because the reality in Arab countries is full of excellent professional experiences and competencies in their fields, which gives society the opportunities to be optimistic about achieving tangible successes.
