المستخلص: بعد حمد الله والثناء عليه سبحانه وتعالى والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين، فقد أكرم الله عز وجل الأمة الإسلامية وشرفها وفضلها بالإسناد، وهو نقل الثقة، عن الثقة حتى يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد أدرك المسلمون أهمية الإسناد، لهذا أخذ الأئمة المحدثون يشددون في طلب الإسناد، وما إن حل القرن الثاني، حتى صار السؤال عن السند ضرورة ملحة لا سبيل إلى إغفالها، وفي ضوء ما وصل إلينا من جهود المحدثين بصدد الإسناد وتهذيبه، وتأصيل أصوله لهو دليل على مدى اهتمام العلماء بهذا العلم، وأثره في حفظ السنة. ومن هذا المنطلق أردت أن أخدم سنة الحبيب المصطفى من خلال هذا البحث المتواضع وأن أجمع أقوال الإمام ابن وارة في رجال الحديث جرحا وتعديلا واكتفيت بالرجال الذين روى عنهم أصحاب الكتب التسعة علما أن أقوال الإمام متناثرة في كتب الجرح والتعديل وكتب التراجم وقد بذلت جهدي في جمعها، ثم قمت بجمع أقوال العلماء الذين تكلموا في الرجال الذين ذكرهم الإمام ابن وارة، ثم أعطيت خلاصة أقوال العلماء في جرح الرواة وتعديلهم بينت فيها إن كانوا موافقين للإمام ابن وارة أو مخالفين له. وضمن هذا التوجه كان جهد ابن وارة وأقواله في الرجال، وهو جهد مميز ودقيق، إلا أنه لم يحظ بدراسة علمية مستقلة ولهذا آثرت أن أخصه بهذا البحث. وأسأله سبحانه أن قد وفقت في عملي واستغفره عن كل خطأ أو تقصير وآخر دعوانا أن الحمد لله رب العالمين.

After thanking Allah and praising Him, Glory be to Him, and blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions, Allah Almighty has honored the Islamic nation. He honored and distinguished it by Isnad (chain of transmission), which is the transmission by a trustworthy on the authority of a trustworthy until the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The Muslims realized the importance of the chain of transmission, so the hadith imams began to seek the chain of transmission, and as soon as the second century came, the question about the chain of transmission became an urgent necessity that could not be overlooked. In light of the efforts of modern scholars regarding the chain of transmission and its rectification and the rooting of its origins, this is evidence of the extent of the scholars' interest in this science and its impact on preserving the Sunnah. From this point of view, I wanted to serve the Sunnah of the beloved Mustafa through this humble research and collect Imam Ibn Wara's sayings in Rijal al-Hadith (Narrators of Hadith), both with criticism and praise. I sufficed with the men (narrators) on the authority whom the authors of the nine books, have narrated, knowing that the sayings of the Imam are scattered in the books of Al-Jarḥ wa l-taʿdīl (criticism and praise) and the books of biographies, and I have tried my best to collect them. Then I collected the sayings of the scholars who spoke negatively about the narrators mentioned by Imam Ibn Wara, and then I gave a summary of the sayings of the scholars in criticizing and praising the narrators, indicating whether they agreed with Imam Ibn Wara or disagreed with him. Within this approach was the effort of Ibn Wara and his sayings about narrators, which is a distinct and accurate effort, but it did not receive an independent scientific study, and that is why I chose to single it out for this research. And I ask Him, Glory be to Him, help me succeed in my work, and I ask His forgiveness for every mistake or shortcoming, and our last supplication is that praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
