المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث عنصرين فنيين دلاليين يبرزان في شعر محمود حسن إسماعيل على اختلاف أغراضه وموضوعاته، وهما عنصرا التأمل والمناجاة، حيث أضفيا على شعره طابعا صوفيا ممتدا عبر المراحل الشعرية المختلفة. ولقد تأثر الشاعر محمود حسن إسماعيل تأثرا كبيرا بنشأته الأولى في الريف المصري وبالأوضاع السياسية والاجتماعية السائدة في هذا الوقت، حيث كان لا يرتضي هذه الأوضاع ويراها مهينة للإنسان ونازعة لكرامته؛ لذلك لجأ إلى الطبيعة حيث وجد فيها راحته النفسية وسكونه البعيد عن الطبائع البشرية المليئة بكل ما يكره. إن الشاعر محمود حسن إسماعيل قد استطاع من خلال تأملاته للطبيعة والتـاريخ والحياة أن يكون مزيجا شعريا شعوريا بين وجدانياته وحالاته المختلفة، فكانت هذه العناصر مرآة يرى فيها نفسه ويسكب فيها شعره وشاعريته الفياضة، حتى غدا التأمل أبرز سمة من سمات شعره. ولم تكن المناجاة منفصلة عن التأمل لدى الشاعر، فلقد ربط الشاعر بين تأملاته ومناجاته الإلهية ربطا خلق جوا صوفيا غير منفصل عن الإنسان من حيث إنسانيته، فلقد كانت مناجاته لربه مفعمة بحالة من التسبيح والحمد والاستغفار لخالق هذه الموجودات التي منحته حياة أخرى بديلة من الحياة التي كان يهرب منها. لقد استطاع الشاعر من خلال معظم قصائده التأملية وقصائد المناجاة أن يمزج بين المكونات الطبيعية والحالة الوجدانية الشعورية والشعرية.

This research examines two seminal artistic elements that stand out in the poetry of Mahmoud Hassan Ismail, namely the element of contemplation and apostrophe, with their different purposes and subjects. These two elements added to his poetry a sufistic aspect extended through the various poetic progress. The poet was deeply influenced by his early living in the Egyptian countryside as well as the prevailing political and social conditions at the time. He did not cope up with such reality and saw it as insulting to the human being and his dignity. Therefore he resorted to nature, where he found his comfort and soul far from human nature. through his reflections on nature, history and life, the poet has been able to produce a poetic mixture of consciousness between the different sensations and situations. Such being the case, he mirrorred himself and extensiveley demonstrated his poetry and poetism to the point where contemplation and apostrophe have become the most prominent feature of his poetry. The poems enlivened apostrophe sceneries were not separate from the contemplation poems. The poet linked his contemplation and his divine pleasures to create an atmosphere of sufism that is not separated from man in terms of his humanity. Apostrophe was filled with praise and seeking forgiveness from the creator of these creatures, which gave him another alternative life that presented him an escape from the actual life. Through most of his contemplation and apostrophe poems, he has been able to combine natural ingredients with emotional and poetic states of emotions.
