المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحت إلى دراسة مظاهر التأثير والتأثر بين الشاعرة الإنجليزية" إيديث سيتويل "والشاعر العراقي" بدر شاكر السياب"؛ وذلك في مدخل وثلاثة مباحث، يتناول المدخل تعريف موجز بالشاعرين، والملامح العامة لشعر كل منهما. ويتناول المبحث الأول الحب والموت فيشعر إيديث سيتويل؛ التي تعد من أبرز الوجوه الشعرية البريطانية في القرن العشرين، والمبحث الثاني يتناول الحب والموت في شعر بدر شاكر السياب، والمبحث الثالث يرصد مظاهر تأثر السياب بالشاعرة الإنجليزية من خلال الوقوف على بعض القصائد؛ التي تبين تأثره بها؛ لأن من يقرأ شعر السياب يتبين عمق تأثير أسلوبها الفني فيه، وقد ظهر ذلك واضحا في قصائده التي تعبر عن مراحل تطوره الفكري والفني. فكان لابد من دراسة تنير الطريق لقراءة واعية لشعر السياب، وتبرز الأبعاد الإنسانية في شعره. ثم يختتم البحث بخاتمة تتضمن أبرز النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها، تليها قائمة بالمصادر والمراجع.

This research aims to study the aspects of impact and influence between the English poet "Edith Sitwell" and the Iraqi poet "Badr Shakir Al-Sayyab"; This is in an introduction and three chapters. The introduction deals with a brief introduction of the two poets and the general features of their poetry. The first chapter deals with love and death in the poetry of Edith Sitwell, who is considered one of the most prominent British poetic figures of the twentieth century. The second chapter deals with love and death in the poetry of Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab. The third chapter monitors, through looking at some poems, that Al-Sayyab is influenced by the English poet, which shows that he was influenced by her; Because whoever reads Al-Sayyab's poetry, the depth of the influence of her artistic style on him becomes clear. This is evident in his poems that express the stages of his intellectual and artistic development. So, there was a need for a study to illuminate the way for a conscious reading of Al-Sayyab's poetry and highlight the human dimensions in his poetry. Then the research ends with a conclusion that includes the most prominent findings, followed by a list of sources and references. This abstract was translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc.
