المستخلص: تتمتع مدينة الدرب بمناخ معتدل في فصلي الشتاء والربيع الأمر الذي جعل من المدينة مقصدا للسياح من المناطق المجاورة لها. حيث أسهم المناخ وموقع المدينة وشبكة الطرق المرصوفة في تطور وتوسع النشاط السياحي بالمدينة وقد أدى ذلك لظهور ما يعرف بالسياحة المناخية Calamite Tourism في منطقة جازان يتشابه وبدرجة كبيرة مع نظيره في منطقتي الباحة وعسير ومحافظة الطائف. الأمر الذي أسهم في نشأة وتطور أحياء لم تكن موجودة من قبل بمدينة الدرب. تبحث هذه الدراسة دور النشاط السياحي كعامل مؤثر في نشأة وتطور حي الكدرة بمدينة الدرب في ظل ما يتوفر بالحي من مقومات تتمثل في توفر الأراضي وانخفاض أسعارها وتخطيط الحي وموقعه. كما تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر النشاط السياحي في خريطة استخدام الأرض بحي الكدرة ومعدل نمو هذا الاستخدام خلال الفترة ما بين عامي 2005–2017م، ومعرفة أنماط الاستخدام السياحي بالحي ومعرفة أثر كل نمط على خريطة استخدام الأرض بالحي. وقد انتهت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج، تلتها عدة توصيات يمكن أن تسهم في تخطيط الاستخدام السياحي وتنميته في الحاضر والمستقبل.

Al-Darb city enjoys a temperate climate in winter and spring, making the city a destination for tourists from neighboring regions. The climate, the location of the city, and the paved road network contributed to the development and expansion of tourism activity in the city, and this led to the emergence of what is known as “climate tourism” in the Jazan region, which is very similar to its counterpart in the regions of Al Baha, Asir and Taif Governorate, which contributed to the emergence and development of neighborhoods that did not exist before in the city of Al-Darb. This study examines the role of tourism activity as an influential factor in the emergence and development of the Al-Khadra neighborhood in Al-Darb city in light of the elements available in the neighborhood represented in the availability of land, its low prices, and the neighborhood’s planning and location. The study also aims to know the impact of tourism activity on the map of land use in the Al-Khadra neighborhood and the rate of growth of this use during the period between 2005-2017, knowing the patterns of tourism use in the neighborhood and knowing the impact of each pattern on the land use map in the neighborhood. The study concluded with several results, followed by several recommendations that could contribute to the planning and development of tourism use in the present and the future.
