المستخلص: This research deals with an analytical study of the writer Naomi Alderman's novel "The Power," which presents a model of a female racial society in which women acquire a supernatural power resulting from electrostatic energy, which drives them to exploit this energy in different ways. The novel also presents a group of female characters, each representing a different aspect of the authority's influence, such as the political, religious, and financial aspects. In the current study, the researcher analyzes the full dimension of the characters of the main heroes of the novel and the environment in which they live and analyzes the novel's dramatic structure. The current research is divided into two main parts: In the first part, we study and analyze the names of the central characters in the novel and return them to their origins in various languages through a semantic reference method in order to clarify the reasons for the writer's choice of those particular names. We also address the name itself as a convincing description of the psychological content of the character and an important symbol in steering dramatic events. The name is an integral part of the dramatic composition of the characters. As for the second part, we make a structural study of the story's narrative structure by applying the semiotic model of the five-year plan. By studying the transformations that the heroes go through in their journey from the beginning of the story to the end, the meeting points of the different threads of the narrative become clear to us. Thus, we arrive at an understanding of the plot that links the characters with their different affiliations, and we conclude that each of the characters has a specific role and specific structural functions that lead to the unity of the text structure and its consistency in its final literary form. يتناول هذا البحث دراسة تحليلية لرواية الكاتبة نعومي ألدرمان "القوة" والتي تقدم نموذجا لمجتمع عنصري أنثوي تكتسب فيه المرأة قوة خارقة ناتجة عن طاقة الكتروستاتيكية مما يدفعها لاستغلال هذه الطاقة بطرق مختلفة. وتقدم الرواية كذلك مجموعة من الشخصيات الأنثوية التي تمثل كل منهن وجها مختلفا من أوجه نفوذ السلطة مثل الجانب السياسي والديني والمالي. وفي الدراسة الحالية تقوم الباحثة بتحليل البعد الكامل لشخصيات الأبطال الأساسيين للرواية والوسط الذي يعيشون فيه بالإضافة إلى تحليل البناء الدرامي للرواية. ينقسم البحث الحالي إلى جزئين أساسيين: في الجزء الأول، نقوم بدراسة وتحليل أسماء الشخصيات المحورية في الرواية ونردها إلى أصولها في مختلف اللغات من خلال منهج مرجعي دلالي وذلك لتوضيح دوافع اختيار الكاتبة لتلك الأسماء بعينها. كما نتطرق للاسم ذاته باعتباره وصفا مقنعا للمحتوى النفسي للشخصية ورمزا مهما في توجيه الأحداث الدرامية، فالاسم هو جزء لا يتجزأ من التكوين الدرامي للشخصيات. وأما في الجزء الثاني، فنقوم بعمل دراسة بنيوية للهيكل الروائي للقصة وذلك من خلال تطبيق النموذج السيميوطيقي للمخطط الخماسي. فمن خلال دراسة التحولات التي يمر بها الأبطال في رحلتهم من بداية القصة وصولا إلى النهاية تتضح لنا نقاط التقاء الخيوط المختلفة للسرد. وبذلك نصل إلى فهم الحبكة التي تربط بين الشخصيات باختلاف انتماءاتها ونستنتج أن لكل شخصية من الشخصيات دورا معينا ووظائف بنيوية محددة تؤدي إلى وحدة بناء النص واتساقه في شكله الأدبي الأخير.

Dans le présent article, nous focalisons notre attention sur le roman dystopique Le Pouvoir de Naomi Alderman et nous envisageons la pleine dimension des protagonistes et du milieu dans lequel ils évoluent dans le cadre d’une approche analytique. En effet, nous les abordons sur deux plans bien distincts mais interdépendants. Dans le premier volet, nous débutons par une analyse onomastique afin d’interpréter le choix des anthroponymes et les mettre en corrélation avec les caractères qu’ils désignent. Par le biais d’une approche sémantico- référentielle, nous entreprenons l’étude des prénoms sous un double aspect : le nom propre comme étant une description déguisée du caractère des personnages et comme jouant un rôle latent dans le résumé symbolique de l’intrigue afin de déceler le sens larvé et le motif intentionnel de sa sélection. Dans le second volet, nous optons pour une approche structurale. En appliquant le modèle sémiotique du schéma quinaire, nous soulignons les transformations que subissent les protagonistes dans leur périple de la situation initiale vers l’état final. Celles-ci ont fourni l’objet d’une activité de déchiffrement qui nous permet de saisir les points de convergence des différents fils de narration et de parvenir à la compréhension de la logique qui entremêle des protagonistes hétérogènes. De ce fait, nous concluons que les personnages assument des fonctions bien précises qui mènent à la construction du texte dans son aspect matériel.
