المستخلص: موضوع البحث هو إبراز أبحاث المستشرقين الفرنسيين في الدراسات اللهجية بالجزائر من خلال المجلة الإفريقية كأنموذج. تمتاز المجلة الإفريقية بدراسات قيمة حول المجتمع الجزائري والعربي، سمتها الشمولية كما تنوعت بحوثها، وتقاريرها، خاصة الجوانب السوسيولوجية والأنثروبولوجية والتاريخية. هذا البحث مقدمة لدراسات وإسهامات المستشرقين الفرنسيين الذين انكبوا على دراسة التراث الثقافي الجزائري باعتباره وسطا معرفيا جديرا بالبحث والدراسة.

Le sujet de cette recherche, c’est l’illustration des recherches menés par les orientalistes français sur les études dialectales en Algérie, a travers la revue africaine. la revue africaine est caractérisée par ses études notables sur la société algérienne et arabes, connue par sa diversité, des recherches et rapports, surtout les aspects sociologiques, anthropologiques et historiques. Cette recherche est une introduction sur les études et contributions des orientalistes français, qui ont profondément présenté des études sur le patrimoine culturel algérien comme étant un domaine cognitif mérite de recherche et étude.

The research topic is to highlight French orientalists' research in dialectal studies in Algeria through the African Journal as a model. The African Journal is distinguished by valuable studies on Algerian and Arab society, whose characteristics are comprehensive, diversity of its research and reports, especially the sociological, anthropological, and historical aspects. This research is an introduction to the studies and contributions of the French orientalists who devoted themselves to studying the Algerian cultural heritage as a medium of knowledge worthy of research and study.
