المستخلص: خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية ظهر مصطلح جديد في مجال التكنولوجيا وهو مصطلح النانو تكنولوجي "Nanotechnology" حيث انتشر هذا المفهوم في الأوساط العلمية والأكاديمية نتيجة لتطبيقاته المختلفة في العديد من المجالات، حيث سارعت العديد من الدول إلى رصد الإمكانيات المالية والبشرية للحصول على المزايا التي يقدمها في مجال تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وفي هذا السياق تحاول هذه الدراسة التعرض إلى مفهوم تكنولوجيا النانو وعلاقتها بمتطلبات تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في المجالات المختلفة، وذلك من خلال تحديد الدور الذي يمكن أن تلعبه هذه التكنولوجيا في المحافظة على البيئة والاقتصاد في الطاقة، وتحسين الصناعة الغذائية، والمساهمة في دعم التكنولوجية الطبية وإنشاء المباني الخضراء، كما تشير الدراسة إلى واقع تكنولوجيا النانو في الجزائر وأهم أفاقها.

In the last few years, a new term has emerged in the field of technology, the term "nanotechnology", This concept has spread in scientific and academic circles as a result of its various applications in many fields, as many countries have been quick to monitor the financial and human resources in order to achieve sustainable development. In this context, this study attempts to tackle the concept of nanotechnology and its relation with the requirements of sustainable development in various fields. It discusses the role that this technology can play in preserving the environment and the energy economy, improving the food industry and contributing to the support of medical technology, and the construction of green buildings. This paper examines also the reality of nanotechnology in Algeria and its most important horizons.

C’est dernières années, un nouveau terme a été forgé dans le domaine de la technologie à savoir « la nanotechnologie» , il a répandu massivement dans les sphères scientifiques et académiques grâce à ces applications multiples qui pousse les états à consacrer des moyens colossaux tant humains que financiers afin de pouvoir tirer ses avantages notamment dans le développement durable. Cette étude aborde la notion de la nanotechnologie et son rapport avec les conditions du développement durable sur tous les plans, à travers la définition du rôle envisagé par cette nouvelle technologie en ce qui concerne la sauvegarde de l’environnement et l’économie de l’énergie, l’amélioration de l’industrie alimentaire, le soutien de la technologie médicale et la construction des immeubles verts. Ainsi, la présente l’étude examine la réalité de la nanotechnologie en Algérie et ses horizons.
