إن مجلس المنافسة، بصفته منظما لاقتصادنا المغربي، يتمتع بمجموعة واسعة من الوسائل، مما يسمح له بأن يكون الموجه الحقيقي فيما يتعلق بعمليات التركيز الاقتصادي، على وجه الخصوص، ولكن أيضا الممارسات المخالفة للمنافسة بشكل عام. لكن ومع ظهور ما يسمى الآن بالاقتصاد الرقمي، ستخضع مهام هذه المؤسسة الدستورية للاختبار، وجب إعادة تكييفها وإعادة ملاءمتها، لتلعب دورها بالكامل في ضبط الاقتصاد الوطني. Le conseil de la concurrence, en tant que super régulateur de notre économie marocaine, est doté d’une grande panoplie de moyens, lui permettant d’être le véritable chef d’orchestre quant aux opérations de concentrations économiques, en particulier, mais également aux différentes pratiques anticoncurrentielles, en générale. Cependant, et avec l’avènement, de ce qu’on qualifie désormais, d’Economie numérique, les missions de cette institution constitutionnelle seront mis à l’épreuve, et doivent être réadapté, voire réinventée, pour jouer, pleinement, son rôle de régulateur. As the regulator of our Moroccan economy, the Competition Council has a wide range of means that allow it to be the real mentor in terms of economic concentration processes, in particular, but also anti-competitive practices, in general. However, with the advent of what is now called the digital economy, the tasks of this constitutional institution will be tested.
