المستخلص: تندرج نظم ERP ضمن نظم المعلومات التي تحقق التكامل العملياتي والمعلوماتي الداخلي والخارجي، هذا التكامل الذي لطالما بحثت عنه المؤسسات الاقتصادية والذي أضحى أحد حقائق الربحية في عالم الأعمال. ومن هذه النقطة تحديدا تتأتى أهمية هذه الدراسة كونها تقوم على استكشاف دور استخدام نظم تخطيط موارد المؤسسة في الرفع من القدرة التنافسية للمؤسسات الاقتصادية، أي تخفيض التكاليف، تحسين مستويات الجودة، تحقيق رضا الزبون والوصول إلى السرعة والمرونة المطلوبة من المؤسسات الاقتصادية في بيئة الأعمال الحالية.

Les progiciels de gestion intégrés (abrégés PGI en français et ERP en anglais pour Enterprise Ressource Planning) peuvent être considérés comme l’une des technologies de l'information la plus importante et la plus célèbre à l'heure actuelle. Ces systèmes ERP font partie des systèmes d’information qui permettent de gérer le flux d’information et l'ensemble des processus d'une entreprise intégrant l'ensemble de ses fonctions internes et externes. Une gestion homogène et cohérente qui a toujours été recherchée par les entreprises et devenue un facteur important pour la rentabilité des entreprises. Sur ce dernier point, vient l'importance de cette étude puisqu'elle permet d'explorer les apports de l’utilisation des systèmes ERP pour accroître la compétitivité des entreprises, à savoir réduire les coûts, améliorer les niveaux de qualité, maximiser la satisfaction client et atteindre la rapidité et la flexibilité requises dans l'environnement des affaires actuel.

ERP systems fall within the information systems that achieve internal and external operational and informational integration, the integration that economic institutions have always looked for, and which has become one of the facts of profitability in the business world. From this point in particular, the importance of this study comes as it is based on exploring the role of using enterprise resource planning systems in raising the competitiveness of economic institutions, i.e. reducing costs, improving quality levels, achieving customer satisfaction and reaching the speed and flexibility required of economic institutions in the current business environment.
