المستخلص: لقد اهتم المغاربة بأدب الرحلات لكونه مصدر معرفي تاريخي، هذا نتيجة عوامل مختلفة ومتشابكة أهلت الرحلة بان تحمل في طياتها صورا عن واقع المشرق الإسلامي في جميع ميادينه، وقد ارتقى أدب الرحلات ليصبح فنا أصيلا فارتقى إلى مستوى الإبداع وازداد اتساعا وخصوبة في بلاد المغرب الإسلامي عند المغاربة والأندلسيين لما عرف عنهم من رغبتهم في الأخذ عن الشيوخ وزيارة الأماكن المقدسة وجولاتهم من أجل الاطلاع والبحث، وانعكاس كل تلك المعارف في البلاد التي وصلوا إليها خلال سير رحلاتهم، من هنا كان واجبا على الباحثين الاطلاع على كتب الرحالة لما لها من أهمية بالغة في رسم صورة عن الحياة بمختلف جوانبها على مدى العصور والأزمنة، للمشرق الإسلامي وخاصة في نقل طبيعة الحياة الفكرية التي انعكست صورتها في أدب الرحلات.

The Arabs in north Africa – Maghreb- has been interested with traveling around the world. They tried to benefit and learn from the precious knowledge of history and geography, they considered traveling as a valuable resource to the explorer. Many factors prove that the Maghreban were enriching their knowledge with travel; the description of the territories and provinces with the conduction, which are considered part of the news Islamic conquests. The Islamic Caliphate state’s large area has an important role in the study of its provinces nature to assist in the application of the provisions of the sharia and helping the work of the governors. The history of towns and provinces was considered as the earliest writing in Islamic history because it’s related with the Islamic conquests and geography. The travel literature rated to became original art , reaching to the highest level of creativity in Maghreb Arab and Andalusia by the writers there, who were known by their love to learn from sheikh and insisting to visit the holy places around the Islamic caliphate and their trips for research and learning. Find the knowledge and learning was a duty for Historians in the explorer’s books and writings. The explores books show complete image and precious information about the life where they traveled. Biography books, history and literature and the translation writing branch clearify the huge and perfect works of those explores and their trips.
