المستخلص: The Sufis (mystics) of Algeria played important roles during the Ottoman period by adopting the principle of social solidarity to improve the conditions of the needy class of students, poor, destitute, disabled, sick, and travelers. They exploited their institutions (centers) to house and feed these groups, thus turning Algeria's Sufis during this period into an effective social institution.

قام متصوفة الجزائر بأدوار هامة خلال الفترة العثمانية، باعتمادهم مبدأ التكافل الاجتماعي لتحسين أوضاع الطبقة المحتاجة من طلبة، فقراء، مساكين، عجزة، مرضى وعابري سبيل. مستغلين مؤسساتهم (الزوايا) في إيواء وإطعام هذه الفئات، وبذلك تحول متصوفة الجزائر خلال هذه الفترة المذكورة إلى مؤسسة اجتماعية فعالة.

Les roles des soufis de l'Algérie etaient importants au cours de la période ottomane, en adoptant le principe de la solidarité sociale pour améliorer la classe des étudiants nécessiteux de la situation, les pauvres , les personnes âgées, les patients et les passants. Profitant de leurs institutions (zaouayas) pour abriter et nourrir ces catégories, transformant ainsi les soufis en Algerie au cour de la periode en question à une institution sociale efficace.
