تتناول الدراسة العلاقة بين السحر والثقافة من وجهة نظر الانثروبولوجيا والديانات السماوية وذلك من خلال محاولة متابعة الخيط الذي يربط السحر بالثقافة منذ قديم الزمان الامر الذي جعل بعض الطقوس السحرية تمارس بوصفها شعائر دينية واعتقد الناس منذ العصور الموغلة في القدم ان السحر هو الأداة التي تعينهم في حل مشكلاتهم التي يربطونها بعالم الغيب الذي يتحايلون على جلاء غموضه وكشف اسراره بشتى الوسائل وظاهرة السحر من الأمور الغامضة المحيرة التي تستعصي على الفهم وهذه الظاهرة تدخل في نطاق ما اصطلح على تسميته علوم ما وراء الطبيعة ولما كان السحر من أول الأمور التي اهتم بها الانسان واعتقد في وجودها وحقيقتها فقد نقش معتقداته وطقوسه وتعاليمه على هذه الصخور او صنع لها التماثيل. فانتشار ظاهرة السحر والشعوذة وإقبال الناس عليها يعود لأسباب عدة، لذا تناولنا هذه الظاهرة لمعرفة أهم الدوافع التي يلجأ بسببها الأفراد للسحرة والمشعوذين وذلك من خلال دراستنا التي تضمنت: الجانب النظري: يتضمن ثلاثة فصول تضمن المحور الأول مبحثين هما المبحث الأول: الاطار العام للدراسة اما المبحث الثاني: تحديد المفاهيم الواردة في الدراسة اما المحور الثاني يتضمن ثلاث مباحث هما المبحث الأول: اللمحة التاريخية للسحر والشعوذة ومدينة الحلة اما المبحث الثاني: النظرية المفسرة لموضوع الدراسة (النظرية الوظيفية) اما المبحث الثالث: الدراسات السابقة في مجال السحر والشعوذة. أما المحور الثالث: يتضمن ثلاث مباحث المبحث الأول: عوامل السحر والشعوذة اما المبحث الثاني: أنواع السحر والشعوذة اما المبحث الثالث: رأي الإسلام والقانون بالسحر والشعوذة.
The study deals with the relationship between magic and culture from the point of view of anthropology and heavenly religions, by trying to follow the thread that links magic with culture since ancient times, which made some magic rituals practiced as religious rituals and people believed since ancient times that magic is the tool that helps them in solving Their problems, which they associate with the world of the unseen, who circumvent its apparent ambiguity and reveal its secrets by various means, and the phenomenon of magic is one of the mysterious, confusing matters that cannot be understood, and this phenomenon falls within the scope of what is called the metaphysics science, and when magic was one of the first things T interested in the man, and I believe in its existence and reality has engraved his beliefs and rituals and teachings on these rocks or making her statues. As for the second topic: the explained theory of the subject of the study (functional theory), while the third topic: previous studies in the field of magic and sorcery As for the third chapter: It includes three topics, the first topic: factors of witchcraft and sorcery, while the second topic: types of witchcraft and sorcery, and the third topic: the opinion of Islam and the law of witchcraft and sorcery
