|a تعاني معظم المدن العراقية من عدة مشاكل وتحديات متمثلة في سوء توزيع الخدمات الصحية. مدينة الناصرية هي أحد المدن التي تعاني من تمركز الخدمات الصحية في المركز دون الرجوع إلى المعايير التخطيطية في توزيعها بما يتلاءم مع الزيادة السكانية والتوسع العمراني واحتياجات السكان من هذه الخدمات فضلاً عن وتواجدها في هذا المكان دون أخر. وجاءت هذه الدراسة لتناول موضوع الملائمة المكانية للخدمات الصحية واختيار الموقع الأنسب لإنشاء المستشفيات الحديثة بواسطة نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) ومعرفة إذ كانت الخدمات الصحية في المحافظة ضمن المساحة الملائمة أو الغير ملائمة لإنشاء مثل هذه الخدمات. كما قد تساعد هذا الدراسة الجهات المعنية وأصحاب القرار في اتخاذ الخطوات المناسبة لتطوير هذه الخدمة الحيوية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المكاني للبيانات الرقمية المستند على الأساليب الكمية التحليلية والكارتوغرافي. أظهرت الدراسة أن الأجزاء الشمالية الشرقية من المدينة هي الأكثر ملائمة لإنشاء المستشفيات في المحافظة لخضوعها إلى عدة معايير ومنها البعد عن مصادر التلوث والضوضاء والبعد عن المستشفيات الحالية وغيرها من المعايير أنفة الذكر. كما أظهرت الدراسة أن المدينة الطبية الحالية في مدينة الناصرية تقع ضمن المنطقة الجيدة وليست المنطقة عالية الملائمة كما أن أغلب المستشفيات في المحافظة والتي يبلغ عددها (7) مستشفيات منها (5) مستشفيات حكومية و(2) مستشفيات أهلية كانت ضمن منطقة الملائمة الواطئة والواطئة جدا.

|b Most Iraqi cities suffer from many problems and challenges which are represented by the poor distribution of health services. The Nasiriyah city is one of these cities that suffer from the gathering of health services in the center without referring to standards of the planning in the distribution in a way that corresponds with the population increase, urban expansion, and the needs of the residents. Furthermore, the presence of these services in a place without another. This study came to deal with the subject of spatial suitability of health services, selecting the most appropriate places for the modern hospitals establishment by using geographical information systems (GIS). Moreover, the investigation that these services are located within the appropriate or inappropriate places from the city. This study may also assist the concerned authorities and decision-makers in taking appropriate steps to develop this vital service. The study relied on the spatially descriptive analytical approach to digital data based on quantitative and analytical methods. The study showed that the northeastern parts of the city were the most suitable for establishing hospitals in the city due to being subject to several criteria i.e. including distance from pollution sources and noise, distance from existing hospitals, and other aforementioned criteria. The study also showed that the current medical city in Nasiriyah has located within the good region but not the most appropriate area. Whereas, most of the city hospitals, which number seven hospitals, five hospitals are government while private hospitals are two. All of these hospitals were located within inappropriate areas and very inappropriate areas.
