المستخلص: يعتبر السوق الأسبوعي "جمعة سحيم" من أهم الأسواق الأسبوعية القروية على الصعيد الجهوي والوطني، بحكم موقعه الجغرافي على محور طرقي جهوي ووطني، ووجوده بسهل عبدة الذي يعد مجالا فلاحيا غنيا، تعالج إشكالية الدراسة دور السوق الأسبوعي "جمعة سحيم" في التبادل التجاري وفي انتشار التجديدات والتواصل بين الفلاحين، ومدى مساهمته في التنمية الريفية محليا وجهويا. اعتمدنا في منهجية الدراسة على معطيات إحصائية كمية وكيفية، تم تعزيزها ببحث ميداني مع الفلاحين والتجار بالسوق. توصلنا من خلال ذلك إلى نتائج تبين أن السوق الأسبوعي "جمعة سحيم" يشكل نقطة لاستقطاب متسوقين من مختلف الجهات ونواة لجذب واستقرار السكان، إذ يشكل، إضافة إلى التسويق، مجالا للتبادل والتواصل وانتشار التجديدات بين الفلاحين، مما يجعله يساهم في تحسين مداخيل الفلاحين وفي تعزيز مداخيل البلدية وبالتالي المساهمة في التنمية الريفية. أخيرا يجب اتخاذ مجموعة من التدابير في إطار مقاربة تشاركية لتقوية دور السوق الأسبوعي في التنمية الريفية.

The weekly souk of "Jemaa Shaim" occupies an important place among the rural weekly souks at the regional and national level, because of its geographical position on regional and national crossroads, and because of its situation in the middle of a rich agricultural area (Plain of Abda). The problematic of this study is to investigate the role of the “Souk” in the commercial exchange, the diffusion of the innovations, the communication between the farmers, and its contribution to the local and regional rural development. We adopted a methodology based on qualitative and quantitative statistical data based, the results of a field survey and direct interview with farmers and traders of the souk. According to the results, we found that the weekly Souk of “Jemaa shaim” has a strong attraction, which reaches the users of several regions, also the stabilization of populations. “Souk” is a space for commercial exchange and communication that promotes the dissemination of innovations. Furthermore, it contributes to improving the income of farmers and the municipality, which lead to a local and regional rural development. Thus, a participatory approach is needed to strengthen the role of the “Souk Jemaa Shaim” in rural development.

Le souk hebdomadaire de Jemâa Shaim, occupe une place importante parmi les souks ruraux hebdomadaires au niveau régionale et nationale, de par sa position géographique sur un axe routier de dimensions régionales et nationales, et de par sa situation au milieu d’un espace agricole riche (Plaine de Abda). La problématique consiste à savoir le rôle du souk dans l’échange commercial et la diffusion des innovations, et aussi au niveau de la communication entre les agriculteurs, et sa contribution au développement rural local et régional. Nous avons opté pour une méthodologie basée sur les données statistiques qualitative et quantitative basée, et les résultats d’une enquête de terrain et l’entretien direct avec les agriculteurs et les commerçants du souk. Selon les résultats nous avons constaté le rôle de l’hebdomadaire Jemâa shaim, à travers sa forte attraction qui atteint les usagers de plusieurs régions, aussi la stabilisation des populations. Le souk est un espace d’échange commercial et un espace de communication, ce qui favorise la diffusion des innovations, sans oublier sa contribution dans l’amélioration des revenus des agriculteurs et de la municipalité à l’horizon d'un Développement rural local et régional. Ainsi il faut adopter une approche participative pour renforcer le rôle du souk Jemâa shaim dans le développement rural.
