|a تناقش هذه الدراسة الاستخدامات الممكنة لإنترنت الأشياء في تطوير وترقية خدمات المكتبات للتحول بها إلى خدمات معلومات ذكية، من خلال استعراض جوانب استفادة المكتبات من تطبيقات تقنية إنترنت الأشياء في تطوير وتحسين كفاءة ونوعية خدماتها المعلوماتية مستخدمين المنهج الوصفي. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على مدى إمكانية تحقيق هذا التحول من خلال تسليط الضوء على خدمات المعلومات الحالية ومن ثم تحديد كيفية استفادة كل خدمة من هذه الخدمات من مزايا تطبيقات إنترنت الأشياء وما التطور الذي سيحدث لهذه الخدمة عند تطبيق إنترنت الأشياء عليها.
