تأتي أهمية هذا البحث: في كونه يخدم واحدا من أهم الكتب اللغوية التي أثرت في الكتب التي جاءت بعده؛ وهو كتاب (جمهرة اللغة)؛ للإمام أبي بكر محمد بن الحسن بن دريد الأزدي (المتوفى سنة 321ه). وقد سلكت في بحثي هذا: منهجا استقرائيا توثيقيا تحليليا للقراءات القرآنية التي استشهد بها ابن دريد في كتابه. فإني بعد أن استقريت كتاب جمهرة اللغة كامل، وجمعت منه المواضع التي استشهد فيها بالقراءات القرآنية –صحيحها وشاذها-: قمت بإثبات هذه المواضع على ترتيب ورودها في الكتاب؛ ثم خرجت هذه القراءات على جهة توثيقها من المدونات القراءاتية والتفسيرية واللغوية فنسبتها إلى من قرأ بها في المتواتر، واشتهر بالقراءة بها في الشاذ؛ ثم تناولت كل ذلك بالتحليل والتعليل والتوجيه مبنى ومعنى. وقد بلغت جملة هذه المواضع: (سبعين موضعا). ثم جعلت البحث في فصلين: (الفصل الأول) من ثلاثة مباحث: مبحث ترجمت فيه لابن دريد. ومبحث عرفت فيه بكتابه جمهرة اللغة. ومبحث استعرضت فيه معالم منهجه في استشهاده بالقراءات في جمهرة اللغة. ثم جعلت (الفصل الثاني) بتمامه: في جمع وتخريج وتوجيه قراءات هذا الكتاب.
The importance of this research is evident in serving one of the most important linguistic books which have been of a noticeable effect on the following books. It is (The Congregation of Language); Al Emam Abo Bakr Mohammed bin Al-Hassan bin Duraid Al-Azdi (Died I 321AH). In my research, I followed an inductive documentary and analytical approach of the Quranic readings with which Ibn Duraid had quoted in his book. After I had read the whole book of the Congregation of Language and had identified and collected the place in which he quoted from the Quranic readings- whether correct or odd-, I prove these places according to the order of their appearance in the book. Then, I authenticated these readings on its place of documentation from the reading, explanatory and linguistic blogs, attributing them to those who use them in recurrent or eccentric reading. After that, I dealt with them through analysis, interpretation and guidance, structure and meaning. The total of these places was seventy places. Next, I divided the research into two chapters: The first consists of three sections: In the first section, I translated for Ibn Duraid. In the second section, I gave a glimpse of his book" The Congregation of Language". In the last section, I viewed the features of his approach regarding his quotation of the readings in The Congregation of Language. The second chapter was entirely allocated for the aggregation, authentication and guidance of the readings of this book.
