المستخلص: The spread of the Corona pandemic led to catastrophic economic repercussions on all countries of the world, as it was worse than the Great Depression in 1929, so the Corona crisis had negative effects on global economic growth and led to a decrease in global trade and a huge drop in oil prices, as well as foreign direct investment decreased And portfolio investments, which have increased the sense of nationalism and the decline of globalization among most people of the world, Corona virus had economic effects on the Egyptian tourism sector, as it affected the volume of tourism coming to the country and almost nonexistent, as tourism revenues reached zero since the beginning of the crisis until June 2020, taking into account the economic importance of the tourism sector on both the trade balance , The balance of services and receipts, the total exports, the contribution of the tourism sector to the gross domestic product, and the increase in employment opportunities. The Egyptian state made many efforts to confront the effects of the Corona economic pandemic, especially on the tourism sector, such as support for real estate development in the tourism sector, support for tourism workers, restoration and development of archeological and tourism areas, and these measures led to the lifting of restrictions and international measures on movement Flying to the return of foreign arrivals and tourists to Egypt gradually since mid-July 2020.
