المستخلص: لا شك أن مراعاة السياق بنوعيه اللغوي (الداخلي) وغير اللغوي (الخارجي) يساعد على فهم المعنى المراد من النص فهما جيدا؛ لأن العلم بخلفيات النص وملابساته والظروف المحيطة به وأسباب النزول ينفى احتمالية غير المراد، ويساعد على التأويل الصحيح. ويهدف البحث إلى الوقوف على أثر السياق بنوعيه اللغوي وغير اللغوي في فهم المراد من كلام الله عز وجل في تفسير نظام القرآن وتأويل الفرقان بالفرقان للإمام عبد الحميد الفراهى وقد التزم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل البحث إليها: 1-اعتمد الإمام الفراهى في تفسيره للقرآن الكريم على السياق بنوعيه اللغوي والخارجي. 2-جاء اهتمام الإمام الفراهى بالسياق اللغوي بصورة كبيرة وهذا جزء من منهجه الذي يتمثل في تأويل الفرقان بالفرقان. 3-كانت للفراهى انفرادات موفقة في توضيح أثر السياق في فهم المراد من كتاب الله عز وجل.

No doubt that taking into consideration the context either linguistic or extra-linguistic context assists in proper understanding of the intended meaning of the Quranic text; because studying the background, circumstances, occasions of revelation of the Quranic text rules out the possibility of misinterpretation and helps in correct exegesis. The present study aims at investigating the significance of the linguistic and extra-linguistic context in understanding the intended meaning of Allah’s words in Imam Abdul Hamid Farahi’s exegesis of the structure of the Qur ’an and interpreting the Qur ’an by the Qur ’an. It adopts the analytical and descriptive approach. The most important conclusions include the following: 1- Imam Farahi relies on the linguistic and extra- linguistic context in his exegesis of the Holy Quran. 2- Imam Farahi shows considerable interest in the linguistic context as this is a part of his approach in interpreting the Qur ’an by the Qur ’an. 3- Imam Farahi offers pioneering insights into clarifying the significance of context in understanding the intended meaning of the Holy Quran.
