يتناول البحث بالدراسة والتحليل أسباب ضعف الأمة الإسلامية وعوامل النهوض، ويأتي البحث في مقدمة تتناول أهداف البحث ومشكلته المعرفية ومنهجه، ثم المباحث حيث يأتي المبحث الأول تحت عنوان أسباب ضعف الأمة الإسلامية والتي تلخصت في البعد عن منهج الله والقوميات والجهويات. كما اشتمل المبحث الثاني على الدور المهم للثقافة الإسلامية كعامل مؤثر في النهوض بالأمة الثقافية ومحرك أساسي، أما المبحث الثالث والأخير فقد تناول أولويات مشروع النهوض وخصائصه. خرج البحث بعددا من النتائج والتوصيات. أهم النتائج: 1- أكدت الدراسة أن أهم أسباب ضعف الأمة الإسلامية هو الاستخلاف عن النهوض. 2- بينت الدراسة عن خطر القوميات والجهويات وتمزيق الإسلامية 3- أكدت الدراسة أن غياب دولة المؤسسات في العالم الإسلامي والاستبداد السياسي من أهم أسباب ضعفه. كما خرجت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات أهمها: 1- أوصت الدراسة بوجوب عودة الأمة إلى هويتها الإسلامية. 2- أوصت الدراسة بضرورة اعتماد الثقافة الإسلامية محركا للنهوض والقيادة والريادة.
The research dealt with the study and analysis of the reasons for the weakness of the Islamic nation and the factors of revival, and the research comes in the forefront of its objectives, its cognitive problem and its approach, and the first topic comes under the title of the reasons for the weakness of the Islamic nation, which is summarized in the distance from the approach of God, nationalities and regionalities. The second topic also included the important role of Islamic culture as an influential factor in the advancement of the nation and a fundamental driver for it. As for the third topic, it dealt with the priorities and characteristics of the revival project. The research came out with a number of findings and recommendations, the most important of which are: 1- The study confirmed that the most important reason for the weakness of the Islamic nation is the succession to revival. 2- The study showed the danger of nationalities and regionalities and the disruption of Islamism. 3- The study confirmed that the absence of a state of institutions in the Islamic world and political despotism are among the main reasons for its weakness. It also came up with the following recommendations: 1- The study recommended that the nation should return to its Islamic identity. 2- The study recommended the necessity of adopting Islamic culture as an engine for advancement and leadership
