|b "Kufa is the city of science and scientists, where ideas and elements are combined to form the basis of openness towards the world. many historical and geographical sources portrayed the three cities (Al-Hira, Kufa and Najaf) as cities that contributed throughout its long history with its human and cultural components In the formation of the culture of the nation in all fields, as well as had an effective impact in the cultures of other nations and civilizations. The elements of civilization and thought merged between the two cities of Al-Hira and Kufa, especially after the land of Najaf was used as a base for the construction of monasteries and churches. And These monasteries formed a starting point for Christian faith to the world, the Najaf city became the supreme reference for ancient Christians. The monasteries were a center of science and cultural and religious radiance, Christianity provided the Arabs with a high culture and friction with other sciences, especially the Greek sciences in all its branches, which later formed a pillar of the Arab-Islamic civilization. It was not different when Islam entered, but it became more important, especially after Ali bin Abi Talib took the city of Kufa as the capital of his state, the goal of the Ali Caliph to make the city of Kufa the center of the new Arab- Islamic settlement until the city emerged as a new cultural issue Combined with the all of population elements and taken it a basis for equality and starting towards the city state."
