The Palestinian refugees issue is considered as one of the most complex issues of human asylum in the world. Its reasons belong to the war of 1948 whose result was the Israeli occupation of most of the Palestinian lands by using different ways of oppression and massacres that led to destroy the villages and expel their population who traveled to different countries. Lebanon is one of these countries, this study is to throw light on the Lebanon attitude toward the Palestinian existence, as it is of the Arab countries that have common boundaries with Palestine and had a great role in receiving the Palestinian refugees. The Lebanon attitude was affected by sectorial and doctrinal elements. This existence was distinguished because its environment citizens divided into two parts: the first supported this existence and its continuous actions, and the second refused it, according to ideological and sectorial logic concerning the subject of Arab and Arabism especially Lebanon through different times that witnessed serious changes in the political, economic, local and regional conditions.
تعد قضية اللاجئين الفلسطينيين من اعقد قضايا اللجوء الإنساني في العالم، والتي تعود أسبابها إلى حرب عام 1948، وكانت نتيجتها استيلاء إسرائيل على معظم أراضي الفلسطينيين مستخدمة في ذلك العديد من عمليات القمع والتهريب والاضطهاد والمجازر التي أدت إلى تدمير القري وطرد سكانها، إذ تشتت الفلسطينيون في مناطق عديدة من الدول العربية ومن بين هذه المناطق لبنان وهذه الدراسة محاولة لتسليط الضوء على موقف لبنان من الوجود الفلسطيني لكونه من البلدان العربية المحددة لفلسطين وتشكيلها ثقلا واضحا في استيعاب اللاجئين الفلسطينيين واحتكم الموقف اللبناني تجاه الوجود الفلسطيني في المخيمات إلى عوامل طائفية ومذهبية، وحظي هذا الوجود بخصوصية تتبع كونه قد عاش وسط بيئة اختلف مواطنوها بين مؤيد لهذا الوجود وعمله المستمر وبين رافض له تبعا لمنطق طائفي وأيدلوجي ليتعلق بموضوع العرب والعروبة وخصوصا لبنان وذلك خلال مراحل زمنية حملت تقلبات في الظروف السياسية والاقتصادية والمحلية والإقليمية.
