سعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة جانب من جوانب شعر المعتمد بن عباد وحياته في مرحلة شبابه (الإمارة) إبان حكم والده المعتضد بن عباد، وهو صورة الأب في شعره، وذلك بالوقوف على الأشعار التي نظمها فيه ودراستها دراسة تحليلية تكشف عن صورة الأب وعلاقته بابنه، وما تميز به خطابه الشعري في هذا الجانب. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن صورة الأب في شعر المعتمد بن عباد تمحورت حول: البذل والعطاء المادي، والقوة والشجاعة، وسلطة الأب المربي والمقوم لسلوك أبنائه والمعزز لهم إن أجادوا، والمعاتب لهم إن أخطأوا، وقد جاءت هذه الجوانب منسجمة مع ما عرف به المعتضد من مميزات اتسمت بها شخصيته وكانت علامة فارقة فيها. ومن تحليل هذه المضامين تبينت الدراسة أمورا عدة منها: فهم المعتمد لشخصية والده ونفسيته؛ وذلك بالتركيز على الجوانب والصفات التي كان يحبها وامتداحه بها، ومنها أيضا سلطة الأب المربي وحزمه مع أبنائه، إذ كان المعتمد يرجع إليه في قضاء الحوائج المادية، ويأخذ رأيه في سلوكه ورغباته، ويعتذر إليه على التقصير والزلل إن بدا منه ما يستوجب هذا. ومن الجوانب التي وقفت عندها الدراسة لغة المعتمد والصورة الفنية التي وظفها في مخاطبة أبيه، فأشارت إلى أن هيبة السلطة والملك خيمت بظلالها على خطاب الولد لأبيه، إذ وظف الألقاب السلطانية، وتحدث عن نفسه بلسان المحكوم مع الحاكم والعبد مع سيده، ولم يدرج في خطابه أي لفظ يدل على عاطفة الأبوة، وأما الصورة الفنية فجاءت تقليدية، اتبع فيها ما ألفناه عند الشعراء في وصفهم للكرم والشجاعة.
This research investigates one aspect of poetry adopted by Al-Mo'tamid Ben Abad and his life in his youth (the Emirate) during the reign of his father Al-Mu'tadid Ben Abad, as the image of the father in his poetry. This is revealed by reviewing the poems composed by him, studying them analytically to unveil the image of the father and his relationship with his son, and considering his poetic discourse in this direction. The study showed that the father’s image in Al-Mo'tamid Bin Abad's poetry concentrates on giving and affording material, strength and courage, and the power of the educator father, and the behavior advisor of his sons, who reinforced them when doing well, and the reproacher when making mistakes. All these aspects are entangled with what distinguished Al-Mu'taDid and his attributes, which characterized his personality as marked. Given the analysis of such aspects, the study indicates the following results: Al-Mo'tamid understood his father's personality and his ego, as presented by focusing on the aspects and traits that he loved and ha used to praise him. The study also shows the power of the educator father and his strictness with his children, as Al-Mo'tamid used to depend on him for living, seek his advice about behavior and desires, and apologize to him for negligence and fault. Additionally, the study reveals the poet's language and the artistic image that he employed in addressing his father, showing that the prestige of the power overshadowed the son's discourse to his father, as he employed the royal titles and spoke about himself using the language of the leader. Al-Mo'tamid never introduced the passion of paternity in his poetry, whereas the artistic image was traditional, as he followed what is familiar among the poets in their description of generosity and courage.
