|a تفحصنا للوثائق الإبيغرافية التي تشير للهبات المالية بالمدن الرومانية بالجزائر وفرت بعض المؤشرات المباشرة التي تكشف لنا وجود المرأة الرومانية إلى جانب الرجل في المجتمع الحضاري العمراني، وبذلك فهي تنقض الصورة التقليدية التي تناقلتها عنها غالبا المصادر الكتابية كون أن مكانتها في الحياة اقتصر على الزوجة أو الأم فقط. يندرج هذا المقال من حيث المبدأ ضمن البحوث المتخصصة في مجال علم الإبيغرافية أي دراسة نصوص النقيشات الأثرية اللاتينية، وبالتحديد تلك المتعلقة بميدان دراسة الهبات المعمارية الرومانية بالجزائر، وهذا محاولة منا لمعرفة مدى مساهمة المرأة الرومانية من خلال هباتها المالية في تحقيق التنمية الحضارية بالمدن التي استفادت منها، وما الدافع وراء ذلك؟

|b Our examination of the epigraphic documents that refer to financial donations in the Roman cities of Algeria have provided some direct indications that reveal to us the presence of Roman women alongside men in the civilized urban society, thus invalidating the traditional image that was often conveyed by written sources, given that the women's place in Roman life was limited to the role of wives and mothers. This article falls in principle within the specialized research in the field of epigraphy, that is, the study of the texts of archaeological Latin inscriptions, specifically those related to the field of studying Roman architectural gifts in Algeria, and this is an attempt by us to know the extent of the contribution of Roman women through their financial statues in achieving civilized development in cities that they benefited from, and what was the motive behind this ?
