|a يهدف البحث إلى تقييم انعكاسات سياسات تخفيض قيمة الجنية المصري، التي أتبعتها الحكومة المصرية ضمن سياسات الإصلاح الاقتصادي، على نسب الفقر وعدالة توزيع الدخل في مصر خلال الفترة من 1999 - 2019. وقد تم استخدام منهج التحليل الوصفي لاستنباط العلاقة النظرية بين المتغيرات المختلفة ومدى انطباق تلك العلاقة على الواقع الاقتصادي في مصر، كما تم استخدام منهج التحليل القياسي لتحديد مدى التأثير الكمي لسياسات تخفيض قيمة الجنية المصري على معدلات الفقر ومدى تأثير ذلك على عدالة توزيع الدخل. وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج تتطابق مع النظرية الاقتصادية، فانخفاض سعر صرف الجنية المصري أدى إلى زيادات متتالية في أسعار السلع الأساسية ما أدى إلى ارتفاع معدلات التضخم، وهو ما زاد من حدة شعور الطبقات المتوسطة ومنخفضة الدخل بانخفاض دخولهم الحقيقية، ما رفع حجم الفقراء في مصر ليصل إلى 62% من سكان مصر أصبحوا تحت خط الفقر، وفقا لتقارير البنك الدولي. كما أثبت البحث تدهور توزيع الدخل في غير صالح الطبقات محدودة الدخل والفقراء وتوسيع فجوة الدخل في مصر منذ عام 2015. وقد أوصي البحث بضرورة اتخاذ الحكومة المصرية العديد من الإجراءات لتطوير شبكة الضمان الاجتماعي لمواجهة الانعكاسات السلبية للإجراءات الاقتصادية على الفقراء ومحدودي الدخل.

|b The research aims to evaluate the implications of the policies of devaluation of the Egyptian pound, which the Egyptian government pursued within the framework of economic reform policies, on poverty rates and fair distribution of income in Egypt during the period 1999 - 2019. The research found results consistent with economic theory, as the decline in the exchange rate of the Egyptian pound led to successive rises in the prices of basic commodities, which led to high inflation rates, which intensified the feeling of the middle and low-income classes about their real incomes falling, which increased the size of the poor in Egypt. , To reach 62% of Egypt's population below the poverty line, according to World Bank reports. The research also demonstrated the deterioration of income distribution to the disadvantage of low-income classes and the poor, and the widening of the income gap in Egypt since 2015. The research recommended that the Egyptian government should take many measures to develop a social security network to counter the negative repercussions of economic measures on the poor and low-income people.
