|a منذ أن وجد الإنسان على ظهر الأرض، وهو يؤجل جزء من إنتاجه أو كسبه إلى وقت الحاجة وذلك حتى يوفر لنفسه ما هو بحاجة إليه من الاستقرار والأمان في يومه وغده، وهو ما يعني أن هذه الظاهرة تمد جذورها إلى القدم، حيث نادت بها جميع الديانات وفي مختلف المجتمعات وعليه تحاول هذه الورقة البحثية إبراز تطور الادخار –كفاعلية اقتصادية- في الفكر الاقتصادي بشقيه الإسلامي وكذا الوضعي، إذ تلخصت نتائج الدراسة إلى مرور ظاهرة الادخار على عدة مراحل تبعا لتطورها التاريخي، وحث الفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي للادخار شرط عدم الاكتناز، وأخيرا اختلفت مدارس الفكر الاقتصادي الوضعي حول محددات الادخار بين سعر الفائدة، وبين الدخل المتاح والميل الحدي للاستهلاك.

|b Since human lives on the earth, he provides some of his production or his income for the necessary time, in order to create a stability and protection. As a result, this phenomenon is prehistoric, which most of religions and societies were adopted it. Therefore, this paper assumes to study the saving (as an economics event) at the Islamic and Western economics thought. Finally, the results of study were summarized in three points; the saving phenomenon is developed based on its historical steps, and the Islamic economics has encouraged the saving but without capital accumulation. On the other hand, the Western economics thought has focus its studies on the determinants of saving, which are the interest rate, available income and the marginal propensity to consume.
