المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الإعلام في نشر قضايا ذوات الإعاقة وعلاقته بدرجة تقبل المجتمع الأردني لهم من وجهة نظرهن، ومن خلال الإجابة على أسئلة تم وضعها لتتناسب مع اهداف الدراسة الحالية، وتمثل مجتمع الدراسة على ذوات الإعاقة البالغ أعمارهم (20) سنة فما فوق في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية في العاصمة عمان وتتكون من جميع طبقات المجتمع الأردني كافة للمملكة، وهذ ما يساعد في إمكانية تعميم النتائج على باقي انحاء المملكة، وتم توزيع أداة الدراسة التي تكونت من استبانة تم بنائها من قبل الباحثة بالاعتماد على الأدب السابق ويعد أن تم تحكيمها من قبل أخصائيين من دكاترة الجامعات الأردنية على(70) فرداً من المجتمع الأصلي للدراسة، واستعانت الباحثة برمجية الحزم الإحصائية (Spss) من أجل تفريع البيانات وتحليلها، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج نذكر أهمها أن هناك توافق بين المجتمع وأفراده بالعمل على التوعية بالقضايا الخاصة بذوي الإعاقة ضمن مجتمعهم، وأظهرت الدراسة أن هناك علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بمعنى أنه بزيادة دور الإعلام في نشر قضايا ذوات الإعاقة في المجتمع يزداد تقبل المجتمع لهن. واوصت الدراسة على تأسيس لجنة خاصة بإعلام الإعاقة في الجمعيات المتخصصة بالإعلام يشترك فيها إعلاميون ومتخصصون في التربية الخاصة. بما يساهم في تطوير الخبرات في مجالي الإعلام والإعاقة.

The study aimed to identify the role of the media in disseminating issues of women with disabilities and its relationship to the degree that Jordanian society accepts them from their point of view, and by answering questions that were developed to suit the goals of the current study, and the study community is represented on those with disabilities who are aged (20) years and above in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the capital, Amman, and it consists of all layers of Jordanian society for all of the Kingdom, and this helps in the possibility of generalizing the results to the rest of the Kingdom, and the study tool consisting of a questionnaire was built by the researcher based on the previous literature and after it was judged by Specialists One of the doctors of Jordanian universities on (70) individuals from the original community for the study, and the researcher used the software of statistical packages (Spss) in order to divide the data and analyze it, and the study reached the most important result that there is a consensus between the community and its members to work to raise awareness of the issues of people with disabilities within their community, there is a positive correlation in the sense that with the increased role of the media in disseminating issues of women with disabilities in society, society increases their acceptance of them. The study recommended the establishment of a committee for informing disability in specialized media associations, with the participation of media professionals and special education. To contribute to developing experiences in the fields of media and disability.
