المستخلص: يدور موضوع البحث في نطاق الدراسات الفلسفية التي تبحث في الغرب عموما وجدل العلاقة بينه وبين العلمانية على وجه أخص، بهدف الكشف عن طبيعة تأثير العلمانية في الغرب فكرا وحضارة ومؤسسة، وتأثرها هي أيضا بالسياقات التاريخية والاجتماعية والفكرية للمجتمع الغربي. ولهذا جاء البحث نتيجة الحفر في أصول ظاهر الغرب العلماني وتشكله في التاريخ الحديث، وانتهاجه للمنظومة العلمانية في الرؤية والمهنة والممارسة، من خلال آليات العلمنة التي اعتمدتها مؤسسات السلطة والمعرفة في أوروبا. وما أفرزته الرؤية العلمانية من مقولات التمركز حول الذات الغربية والاعتداد بها، وفق أطر ومسوغات معرفية فلسفية، علمية وفنية هيأت للمجتمع الغربي الانتقال من تأليه الطبيعة إلى تأليه الإنسان، وما نجم عن هذه الرؤية وآليات تطبيقها في الواقع من أزمات معرفية حادة. وقد اعتمدنا في مقاربتنا للموضوع المناهج الاستقرائية والتحليلية والنقدية، هدفنا من خلالها إلى فهم وتفسير ظاهرة الغرب العلماني وتتبع تطوراته ومراحل انتقاله، وتقييم مآلاته في الفكر والحياة وانعكاسات أزماته على الغرب العالم.

The topic of this research is about the scope of philosophical studies that investigate the West in general and the controversy between it and secularism in particular. This is in order to reveal the nature of the influence of secularism in the West in thought, civilization and institution, and its influence also on the historical, social and intellectual contexts of Western society. The research was the result of examining the origins of the phenomenon of the secular West and its formation in modern history, and its approach to the secular system in vision, methodology and practice, through the secularization mechanisms adopted by the institutions of power and knowledge in Europe. In addition to what resulted from the secular vision; the statements of centering around the Western self and being proud of it, according to cognitive frameworks and justifications; Philosophical, scientific and artistic that prepared the Western society for the transition from the deification of nature to the deification of man. And what emerged from this vision, moreover, the mechanisms of their application in reality and the resulting severe cognitive crises. We employed the inductive, analytical and critical approaches. We aimed through it to understand and explain the phenomenon of the secular West, in addition to track its developments and stages of transmission, and assesses its effects in thought and life and the consequences of its crises on the West and the world.
