المستخلص: يستخدم الأديب محمد ديب في كتاب Simorgh الأسطورة الصوفية للطير الملك (Simorgh)، وذلك للتدقيق في الموضوع المتمثل في "البحث عن الذات والبحث عن الآخر" أو "البحث عن الذات في البحث عن الآخر" الذي هو في قلب أحداث قصة الكتاب: هذا الموضوع يبرز بشكل شبه روحاني على الحد الفاصل بين العنصر الحقيقي والخيالي، الملموس والمتافيزيقي. تسمح إذن إعادة كتابة قصة فريد الدين عطار (منطق الطير في القرن الثاني عشر) في إعادة طرح قضية الـ"أنا" و"الآخر". ومع ذلك فإن السؤال الجوهري المتعلق بالهوية في Simorgh للكاتب محمد ديب مرتبط بسؤال اللغة. وحل أسئلة الهوية لا يمكن أن يتم إلا من خلال فهم لغة "المفارقات" (إذا جاز التعبير): اللعب بالكلمات، أو الشعر "المقدس" تقريباً، أو موسيقى معينة أو لغة بدون كلمات لأنها في النهاية لغة الطيور.

In his work Simorgh, Mohammed Dib uses the mystical myth of the king bird (Simorgh) to nurture the transcendent theme of "the quest for self and the quest for the other" or "the quest for self in the quest for the other", which is at the heart of the work: an almost mystical theme which is distinguished in this text at the boundary between the real and the imaginary, the concrete and the metaphysical element. The rewriting of the story by Farid Al Din Attar (The Language of Birds 12th Century), allows him to question the problems of egotism and otherness. However, the crucial question of identity in Dib’s Simorgh is related to that of language. It is so to say that the resolution of identity issues is done only through the language of paradoxes: pun, almost sacred poetry a certain musicality or a language without words since it is ultimately the language of the birds.

Mohammed Dib utilise dans son oeuvre Simorghle mythe mystique de l’oiseau roi pour entretenir le thème transcendant de "la quête de soi et la quête de l’autre" ou de "la quête de soi dans la quête de l’autre" qui est au coeur de l’oeuvre. Un thème presque mystique qui se distingue dans ce texte à la limite entre le réel et l’imaginaire et le concret et l’élément métaphysique. La réécriture du récit de Farid Al Din Attar (Le langage des oiseaux XII è siècle), lui permet de s’interroger sur les problématiques de l’égoïté et de l’altérité. Cependant, la question cruciale de l’identité dans Simorgh de Dib est liée à celle du langage. C’est pour ainsi dire que la résolution des questions identitaires ne se fait qu’à travers le langage des paradoxes: jeu de mots, poésie presque "sacrée", une certaine musicalité ou alors un langage sans mots puisqu’il s’agit finalement de la langue des oiseaux.
