المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على حجم اهتمام الصحيفة محل الدراسة بمعالجة القضايا الاجتماعية، ومعرفة نوع وكمية الموضوعات الاجتماعية التي تقوم الصحيفة بمعالجتها، ومعرفة المصادر التي اعتمدت عليها الصحيفة في معالجة القضايا الاجتماعية. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: اهتمت صحيفة الصباح الإلكترونية محل الدراسة بالقضايا الاجتماعية، وخصصت لها الصفحة الثامنة في نسختها، وجعلت لها عنوانا هو "الصباح الاجتماعي" يصدر مع صدور الصحيفة ثلاث مرات في الاسبوع. أهم القضايا التي ركزت عليها الصحيفة قضية حقوق المرأة بالدرجة الأولى وهي سجلت أعلى نسبة في مواد الصفحة الاجتماعية، ثم قضية التنشئة الاجتماعية، والعنف الاجتماعي. عالجت الصحيفة محل الدراسة القضايا الاجتماعية بالتركيز على الوظيفة التوعوية ثم الإخبارية ثم الوظيفة الارشادية خاصة فيما يتصل بقضية التنشئة الاجتماعية، ومع أن الصحيفة أولت اهتمام كبير لنشر مواد تتصل بقضية حقوق المرأة، والعنف الاجتماعي، إلا أن أغلب هذه المواد تم نشرها أسفل الصفحة، بينما نشرت قضايا الزواج والطلاق في أعلى الصفحة مع انهما يحتلا المرتبة الرابعة والخامسة وقضية النزوح الاجتماعي في المرتبة السادسة ضمن اهتمامات الصحيفة، بينما كان نشر مادة قضية التنشئة الاجتماعية متوازن بين أعلى الصفحة وأسفلها.

The study reached the following results The subject of the study, the electronic newspaper, Al-Sabah took care of social issues, and devoted the eighth page of its edition to it, and gave it a title, “The Social Morning”, which is published with the newspaper’s publication three times a week. The most important issues that the newspaper focused on primarily other issues, and it recorded the highest percentage in the social page articles, then the issue of women's rights, socialization, and social violence. The newspaper in question dealt with social issues by focusing on the news and awareness function, then the advisory function, especially with regard to the issue of socialization, Although the newspaper devoted great attention to publishing materials related to the issue of women's rights, other issues, and social violence, However, most of these materials were published at the bottom of the page, while issues of marriage and divorce were published at the top of the page, even though they are ranked fifth and sixth in the newspaper’s interests, Whereas the publication of the socialization issue was balanced between the top and the bottom of the page.
