المستخلص: In our therapy, we received patients with brain trauma caused by road accidents. The objective of this therapy is to point out that the patient cognitive deficits with behaviour troubles have negative impact on their oral language recovery. Dealing with this situation, we resort a cognitive remedial. It’s a therapy that involves providing the patients with strategies and trainings through cognitive activities. Consequently, the retrieval of the oral communication is often possible.

Dans nos consultations d’orthophonie, nous accueillons des sujets traumatisés crâniens suite aux accidents de la voie publique. Notre objectif est de souligner que leurs déficits cognitifs associés aux troubles comportementaux, ont un impact négatif sur la récupération du langage oral. Face à cela, nous recourons à la remédiation cognitive. C’est une thérapie qui consiste à fournir aux patients des stratégies et un entrainement à l’aide d’exercices cognitifs. Les répercussions sur l’autonomie de communication sont souvent possibles.
