المستخلص: يروم البحث مناقشة التصور الفلسفي للحداثة الإسلامية كما يبسطه طه عبد الرحمن في مشروعه الفلسفي، وذلك من جهتي الأسس الفكرية المعرفيـة أولاً، والرهانات الأخلاقيـة الدينيـة ثانياً. لذا سيتم التوقف بداية عند مفهوم الحداثة كما هو متداول في الأدبيات الفلسفية والفكرية عموماً، وكما يحدده صاحب "روح الحداثة" خصوصاً. ونبرز ثانياً أهم مميزات الحداثة الغربية (أزمة المعرفة - تسلط التقنية - الظلم القولي، إلخ) ومبررات نقدها عند طه عبد الرحمن. فيما نبين ثالثاً أهم أعطاب وآفات الحداثة المنقولة المستنسخة في الفكر العربي من حيث هي حداثة "ناقصة" لافتقادها شرطي "الإبداع" و"الاستقلال". ونناقش رابعا التقويم الأخلاقي للحداثة في صورتها الغربية من جهة، ونبرز، من جهة ثانية، معالم الأنموذج الحداثي البديل الذي يقترحه طه مبينين أهم أسسه ومرتكزاته، ومحللين أبرز مقاصده وغاياته. لنختم أخيراً بخلاصة تتضمن أهم ما انتهى إليه البحث من نتائج.

The research aims to discuss the philosophical conception of Islamic modernity as presented by Taha Abderrahman in his philosophical project, on the two sides of the intellectual and cognitive foundations first, and the ethical and religious stakes secondly. Therefore, we will first stop at the concept of modernity, as it is mentioned in philosophical and intellectual research in general, and as defined in the "spirit of modernity" in particular. Secondly, we highlight the most important features of Western modernity (the crisis of knowledge - the domination of technology - verbal injustice, etc.) and the justifications for its criticism according to Taha Abderrahman. While we show, in third, the most important defects and pests of modernity transmitted reproduced in Arab thought in terms of it is an “incomplete” modernity because it lacks the conditions of “creativity” and “independence”. Fourth, we discuss the ethical evaluation of modernity in its Western image on the one hand, and on the other hand we highlight the features of the alternative modernist model proposed by Taha, explaining its most important foundations, and analyzing its most prominent aims and objectives. Finally we conclude with a summary that includes the most important results of the research.
