المستخلص: This article is a research essay that focuses on the presidency of the criminal jurisdiction in French law as well as in Algerian. How French and Algerian legislators have regulated the quality and powers of the president of the criminal court is the subject of this study.

Cet article est un essai de recherche qui a pour objet la présidence de la juridiction criminelle en droit français qu’en algérien. Comment les législateurs français et algérien ont-ils règlementé la qualité et les attributions de président de la juridiction criminelle ? Tel est l’objet de cette étude.
