|a لقد سلم أرباب الفصاحة من الوهلة الأولى أن هذا التنزيل يعلو ولا يعلى عليه، لأنهم وجدوه يحوي دقة في وضع كل كلمة في موقعها الذي لا يمكن أن تحل محله كلمة أخرى، وليس في القرآن لفظة زائدة لا تفيد معنى، ولا كلمة قد فهم معناها مما قبلها فأعيدت لا لمعنى، أو لمجرد التأكيد المحض دون فائدة جديدة، إذ لا يمكن أن تكون الكلمة المفردة أدل على معناها الذي وضعت له من كلمة أخرى، سواء أكان ذلك في لغة واحدة أم في لغات مختلفة، فما بالك بكتاب الله. ومن هذه الكلمات التي حار فيها بعض أهل التفسير كلمتي: (الإنزال والتنزيل) حتى ظنوا أنهما سواء، وليسا بسواء عند الأكثر، فهناك مناسبة طبيعية بين الصوت والمدلول، وزيادة المبنى يدل على زيادة في المعنى، ثم طبقنا المعنى الذي اقتنعنا به في المواضع والأشياء التي ورد فيها الإنزال والتنزيل في كتاب الله الحكيم.

|b The masters of eloquence agreed willingly from the first instance that this revelation is superior and nothing can be superior to it, because they found words are selected with meticulous precision and no word can be replaced with another.Moreover, there is no unessential word in the Qur’an that is meaningless; no word repeats an already expressed meaning, and there is no word repeated only for emphasis without rendering a new meaning. This is because, there cannot exist one single wordused to render a certain meaning whereas there is another thatcanrender it more precisely, neither in the same language nor in different languagesin human discourse not to speak about the book of Allah. And among such words which perplexed the exegetes of Al Qur'aan are“Inzaal” and “Tanzeel”to the point that some scholars considered them to be synonymous, whereas they are not synonymous, according to the majority of commentators. Moreover, the sounds constituting a wordare in harmony with the meaning that word is meant to express, and the more the constituent sounds in a word, the greater the meaning. We then applied the meaning we hold to be the actual meaning in other contexts and objects referred to by means of “Inzaal” and “Tanzeel”in Allah’s book of wisdom.
