يعد الغموض في الشعر العربي الحديث من أهم القضايا النقدية التي اهتم بها الدارسون والنقاد؛ حيث حاولوا فك رموز الشعر الحديث وأنواعه وأسباب ذلك الغموض ومستوياته ودرجاته وتفاوته من شاعر لآخر. ولعل سر اهتمام النقاد بالغموض هو الجدل الذي ثار حوله! هل على الشاعر أن ينزل إلى مستوى المتلقي؟ أو أن المتلقي عليه أن يؤهل نفسه وينمي ثقافته اللغوية والفكرية ليرتقي إلى مستوى فهم الشعر. وقد تقرر لدى النقاد أن لغة الشعر عامة ولغة الشعر الحديث خاصة لغة فنية تتجاوز اللغة المعيارية وتنتهك قوانينها حيث تعتمد على التصوير والإيقاع وتراسل الحواس والرمز وغير ذلك من أدوات الفن والإبداع الأدبي. وقد خلصت في هذا البحث إلى التعريف بقضية الغموض في الشعر العربي الحديث وقسمته إلى ثلاثة محاور: الأول: الغموض المتعلق بالنص. الثاني: الغموض المتعلق بالمؤلف وعلاقته بكل من القارئ والنص. الثالث: إشكالية الغموض بين المؤيدين والمعارضين. وقد وضحت كل محور على حده وضربت له الأمثال بنصوص مختلفة ووضحت نوع الغموض ودرجته ورأي النقاد في كل نوع من أنواع الغموض ثم وضحت مكامن الغموض في كل نص، ثم أسباب كل من المؤيدين للغموض والمعارضين له وحججهم. وأخيرا بينت دلالتي الغموض الجمالية واللغوية حيث شكلت الدلالتان ظاهرة فنية مرتبطة بالفن الإنساني من جهة وبالفنان المبدع من جهة أخرى.
Ambiguity in modern Arabic poetry is one of the most important critical issues that concerned scholars and critics, who tried to decipher the codes of modern poetry, its types, reasons for that ambiguity, its levels, degrees, and variation from one poet to another. The reason behind such interest of critics is the controversy that surrounds it. Should the poet come down to the level of the recipient? or the recipient has to prepare himself and develop his linguistic and intellectual culture to rise to the level of understanding poetry. The critics have agreed that the language of poetry in general and the language of modern poetry in particular is an artistic language that goes beyond the standard language and violates its laws, as it relies on imagination , rhythm, correspondence of the senses, symbol and other artistic tools and literary creativity. In this research, I introduced the issue of ambiguity in modern Arabic poetry and divide it into three axes: The first: ambiguity related to the text. The Second: ambiguity related to the author and his relationship to both the reader and the text. The third: the problem of ambiguity between supporters and opponents. I clarified each axis separately and support it with proverbs in different texts and clarified the type and degree of ambiguity and the opinion of the critics in each type of ambiguity, then clarified the ambiguities in each text, and the reasons for both supporters and opponents of ambiguity and their arguments. Finally, I showed the aesthetic and linguistic ambiguities, as the two connotations formed an artistic phenomenon related to human art on the one hand and the creative artist on the other hand.
