المستخلص: Confessions of a Kleptomaniac by Florence Noiville reveals a type of impulse control disorder, which is kleptomania, defined as the repeated failure of the patient to resist the push to steal things that have no value and are not needed for him. In this novel, the writer dealt with a story of one of the women who, by chance, played a major role in meeting her in a famous store in New York State. She carried a bag that read, "I am a kleptomaniac, and this is a stolen bag." By this act, this woman aroused the writer's curiosity to know her and try to analyze her story in order to publish it as one of the novels dealing with the patient's suffering from this behavioral disorder from her childhood until her marriage and reaching the age of eighty, and her arrival in Detroit in the United States of America, where she was treated psychologically. From this point of view, the current study addressed the following basic elements: 1- The opening or external elements in the novel "the thresholds." 2- The characters. 3- Rhetorical methods. Dans Confessions d'une cleptomane, Noiville exploré le plus obsessionnel des troubles addictifs qu'est la cleptomanie. Suite à la rencontre et à la demande d'une cleptomane octogénaire, elle a pris l’initiative de se plonger dans le psychisme humain afin d'explorer cette impulsion irrésistible en adoptant l'histoire de Valentine de Lestrange et d’en faire un roman. Ayant rencontré à New York par hasard, lors d’une soirée,une femme avec un sac portant cette inscription bizarre:"l am a Kleptomaniac.This is a stolen bag”, Noiville, motivée par un désir fervent de découvrir ce trouble compulsif, a accepté, de bon gré, de jouer le rôle d'un psychologue et de prêter l'oreille à cette femme accablée de cette addiction afin d'écouter et d’analyser ses confessions et son histoire riche en péripéties avec cet automatisme congénital, dès son jeune âge jusqu'à son arrivée à Detroit où elle s'est installée pour se faire soigner par un traitement psychothérapeutique. Dans cette optique notre étude portera sur ces points essentiels : 1- Les éléments paratextuels. 2- Les personnages. 3- Les procédés stylistiques.

تكشف رواية "اعترافات مريضة بهوس السرقة "للكاتبة فلورنس نوافيل عن أحد أنواع اضطرابات التحكم في الاندفاع، والذي يتمثل في الكلبتومانيا أو هوس السرقة، والذي يعرف على أنه الفشل المتكرر من المريض في مقاومة الاندفاع نحو سرقة أشياء ليس لها قيمة ولا توجد حاجة إليها بالنسبة له، وقد تناولت الكاتبة في هذه الرواية قصة لإحدى السيدات التي لعبت الصدفة دورا كبيرا في لقاؤها في أحد المحلات المشهورة بولاية نيويورك، حيث قد حملت حقيبة مكتوب عليها "أنا مريضة بهوس السرقة، وهذه حقيبة مسروقة"، وقد أثارت هذه السيدة بهذا الفعل فضول الكاتبة في التعرف عليها، ومحاولة تحليل قصتها من أجل نشرها كإحدى الروايات التي تتناول معاناة المريضة مع هذا الاضطراب السلوكي منذ طفولتها حتي زواجها وبلوغها سن الثمانون، ووصولها لمدينة ديترويت في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث تم علاجها نفسيا. ومن هذا المنطلق تناولت الدراسة الحالية العناصر الأساسية التالية: 1-العناصر الافتتاحية أو الخارجية في الرواية "العتبات". 2-الشخصيات. 3-الأساليب البلاغية.
