١-الغلول هو الأخذ من المغنم أو(الغنيمة) سرا قبل قسمتها، وبالمعنى العام هو مطلق الخيانة، وقد نهى الله تعالى والرسول(ص) المسلمين عنها؛ ومن أنواع الغلول الرشوة والهدية وغيرها من المصطلحات الدالة عليها. ٢-إن إشارات ونصوص الغلول في العصر الراشدي والأموي والعباسي قليلة جدا، مقارنة بالعصر النبوي، وذلك بفعل الآيات القرآنية التي حرمت الغلول وأخرى أحلت الغنيمة للمسلمين، والأحاديث النبوية التي عظمت الغلول، وبينت عواقبه في الدنيا والأخرة، ووصاية الرسول (ص) لها الأثر الفاعل في الحد من الغلول، فكانت وصاياه عظيمة تضمنت التبليغ والتحذير والابتعاد عن الغلول بكل أشكاله لأنه من الكبائر. ٣-طبق الخلفاء في العصر الراشدي والأموي والعباسي نهج الرسول (ص) فقد تضمن ذلك النهج توجيه الوصايا لقادة الجيش وجيوشهم بعدم الاعتداء على الغنائم أي الأموال المشتركة فان ذلك غلول، وعدم ظلم العباد، ولابد من محاسبة الغال ومعاقبته، وفق القران الكريم وسنة الرسول(ص). ٤-كان الخلفاء الراشدين والأمويين والعباسيين، يتحلون بالورع والحذر من الغلول فكانت عملية الرصد والمحاسبة لأنفسهم أولا ولرعاياهم، وهذا هو هدفنا اليوم المراد تحقيقه بكل جوانب الحياة.
