|a تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى توثيق أنواع النباتات المحلية على ضفاف نهر النيل الأزرق في ولاية النيل الأزرق بالسودان. منطقة الدراسة هي جزء من غابات السافانا منخفضة الأمطار. تم إجراء مسوحات الجمع باتباع طريقة التعرج المؤقت في مواقع أخذ العينات بالقرب من سد الروصيرص وعلى امتداد 40 كم على امتداد النهر شمال مدينة الروصيرص. تم تسجيل 100 نوع من الأعشاب والأشجار والشجيرات تنتمي إلى 34 عائلة 80 جنسا، ثلاثة منها أنواع جديدة سجلت لأول مرة في نباتات السودان. أظهرت القائمة المسجلة تنوعا منخفضا مقارنة بالقائمة الوحيدة المتاحة للنباتات على ضفاف نفس النهر في بيئة أكثر جفافا. تسلط الدراسة الضوء على التأثير المحتمل للأنشطة الزراعية المكثفة، وتربية الماشية.

|b This study aims at documenting the native plants species in a riparian zone of the Blue Nile River in the Blue Nile State, Sudan. The study area is part of a Low Rainfall Woodland Savanna. Collection Surveys following timed-meander method were carried out in sampling sites near Rosseiris Dam and along 40 km riverine stretch north of Rosseiris town. 100 herb, tree and shrub species have been reported belonging to 34 families and 80 genera, 3 of which are new records to the flora of Sudan. Herbs constitute 63% of the flora, while 37% are trees and shrubs. Recorded list showed low diversity compared with the only one available list for a riparian vegetation of the same river in another dryer environment. The study highlights the possible negative impact of intense agricultural activities and livestock rearing in the area under study.
