المستخلص: اصبحت مؤسسات المعلومات تواجه تغيرات سريعة لم يسبق لها مثيل نتيجة العولمة والابتكار المستمر للتكنولوجيا وبهذا يحتم عليها التطوير بشكل مستمر. كما كان لنمو التكنولوجيا تأثير فعال إذ جعل المعرفة متوفرة بشكل كبير ومما يدلل على ذلك سهولة الوصول للمعلومات. فأمام هذا العالم بكل اختراعاته وابتكاراته تواجه المؤسسات الحكومية وحتى الخاصة في قطاع المكتبات موجات متلاحقة من التغييرات سواء أكانت قانونية أم إدارية أم تقنية أم فنية. ظهرت مشكلة الدراسة في أن بعض المستفيدين لا يزال يتغاضى عن دور المكتبات الرائد في خطط التنمية الوطنية نتيجة لغياب التواصل الجيد لقادة المكتبات مع صناع القرار والمسؤولين عن قضايا التنمية المستدامة في الدولة تكمن اهمية الدراسة من خلال تناولها لموضوع بالغ الاهمية ويعتبر محل نقاش على مستوي الوسائط العلمية ويركز على موضوع الوصول الحر للمعلومات العلمية ودوره في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة من خلال معرفة وجهة نظر العاملين في المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات وذلك لإثراء المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات بدراسات تهتم بموضوع مهم وقضية تتعلق بالتنمية المستدامة لقطاع المكتبات، استخدام في الدراسة لمنهج الوثائقي وفقا لأدبيات البحث عن الجانب النظري للدراسة وكذلك المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ووظفت فيه أداة الاستبانة لجمع المعلومات وذلك من أجل الحصول على نتائج عملية يتم تفسيرها بطريقة موضوعية بما يتناسب مع المعطيات الفعلية للظاهرة محل الدراسة. أدوات الدراسة هي البحث في المصادر والمراجع والشبكة العنكبوتية وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها وضع الاستراتيجيات الوطنية للتنمية المستدامة يساهم في تنمية قطاع المكتبات الجامعية بالسودان. أوصت الدراسة بأن تعزيز الدور الرائد للمكتبات من خلال المشاركة في السياسات الوطنية لوضع الخطط الاستراتيجية يساعد في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة. كذلك لابد من عقد الشراكة بين المكتبات والمؤسسات المختلفة مما يساعدها على التغلب على معوقات تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة

Information institutions are facing unprecedented rapid changes as a result of globalization and continuous innovation of technology, and thus it is imperative that they develop continuously. The growth of technology also had an effective impact as it made knowledge widely available, which is evidenced by the ease of access to information. In front of this world with all its inventions and innovations, governmental and even private institutions in the library sector are facing successive waves of changes, whether they are legal, administrative or technical. The problem of the study appeared in that some beneficiaries still overlook the leading role of libraries in national development plans as a result of the absence of good communication of library leaders with decision-makers and those responsible for sustainable development issues in the country. The importance of the study lies in its dealing with a very important topic and is considered a subject of discussion at the level of scientific media It focuses on the subject of free access to scientific information and its role in achieving sustainable development goals by knowing the viewpoint of workers in libraries and information centers in order to enrich libraries and information centers with studies concerned with an important topic and issue related to the sustainable development of the library sector, using the documentary method in the study according to the literature of research on the theoretical side For the study, as well as the descriptive analytical approach, in which the questionnaire tool was employed to collect information in order to obtain practical results that are interpreted in an objective manner in proportion to the actual data of the phenomenon under study. The study tools are searching in sources, references and the web. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is the development of national strategies for sustainable development that contributes to the development of the university library sector in Sudan. The study recommended that strengthening the leading role of libraries through participation in national policies to develop strategic plans helps in achieving goals sustainable development. It is also necessary to hold a partnership between libraries and various institutions, which helps them to overcome the obstacles to achieving the goals of sustainable development
